Daily housekeeping when staying on cash?

I assumed that when staying in a villa and paying cash, we would get daily housekeeping, but apparently not. We recently stayed at VWL on cash, and when we asked about it, we were told that it's only every third day. I thought I would ask the experts here!

No, not unless your stay was booked through Disney Reservations. Member Services reservations do not get daily housekeeping.

Sometimes it pays to book thru CRO, and this might be one of those times. I call both MS and CRO to check the cost of the room. Sometimes they are the same. In that case, I book thru CRO and get a couple of days of maid service, especially with a larger villa.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I guess $450 plus tax wasn't such a great deal, since we've gotten a 1-br in the past for closer to $300 (not at NYE, though) - but it seemed like a great deal when looking at the point cost!
