dad's day gift idea for you ... pix inside

I wanted to share this. I made it for dh at Christmas. It was the first gift he ever got teary over! DS was just learning to walk when we went to Disney, so I thought this was an awesome picture to do this.

It was very easy:
-copied poem found online
-background paper is from my local scrap store that says father (can't really see detail in the picture)
-matted poem and picture in a solid color cardstock
-there were alot of people in the picture, so i used a sheet of vellum (clear kind of paper from scrapstore) to cover photo, but I cut out hole in middle where dh and ds were.

I love it!! I love it so much that I am totally copying you. I've already typed my poem and printed it, bought cardstock, now I just have to find a photo of my dh and dd. I take a lot of behind shots especially @ disney. Thanks for the idea!!!

Just wanted to let you know my dh LOVED his father's day present. I did the black frame with bright yellow background and used 3 of the red home depot paint chips to put thru it and he cried. He hung it in his mickey office @ work! Thanks for a great idea!
