How is the mousequerade? Do they usually take the whole time. I used to go to these for anime conventions but then they got repetitive.

I loved it 2 yrs ago but it was my 1st time. Nina West is funny. But DH plans on skipping it this time because he wants to go to all the animation panels and one conflicts.

Just so I'm clear, for the shopping experiences, it's all virtual queue and there's nothing to do in advance? We just have to plan to wake up early or whatever each morning Friday-Sunday and try to get in the queues? All I see right now is it says the mobile queue opens at 9am, but not when we queue up to begin with?

I still need to figure out which stores to target... the descriptions haven't been the most helpful and it feels super-fragmented between all the different stores.

I’m guessing that they will allow queueing for entrance to start sometime between 4-7am. And correct it will either be VQ or just a regular wait in line to get in. Last go around most stores turned over to standby during the afternoon on day 1.

Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out when the VQ will open. Usually it's like 7am or something?

The nice thing is I just went through all the pin PDFs and nothing made me feel like I had to have it or I'd die. LOL. They do keep showing a picture of a backpack with space for pins in the back and a Sorcerer Mickey that I hope is for sale somewhere.

I think last go around it opened at 8 or 8:30am. My first VQ will be for MOG and then probably the main shop.

Edit: did a quick search of my texts from last go around. It opened at 6am.

Not sure if this counts as new info, but figured I'd share, just in case:

I called D23 this afternoon to check on my missing Saturday badge. The rep told me that the badges are being shipped out in batches (apparently by day and type), and they're still in the process of sending them out. Having said that, she noticed my missing badge didn't have shipping info attached.

She didn't explicitly say it, but it sounds like they know they've got an issue. They may have already said this somewhere, but they're going to have Will Call available on the 7th and 8th at the Anaheim Hilton (I think she said it starts at 9am) for people to get replacement badges in advance if they don't receive them before the event (then at ACC on the days of the event).

She also confirmed that the Honda Center passes will be emailed separately.

They definitely know that they have an issue and pretty much given up on shipping them out now. No movement on our Friday and Saturday badges (got Sunday); while our 2nd order of Friday and Saturday were received -- didn't order Sunday on that order.

It's the orders that had three individual days -- sunday shipped -- fri and sat missing .
