Anyone know if there is a way to add the Honda Center tickets to a Google Wallet?

I think last go around it opened at 8 or 8:30am. My first VQ will be for MOG and then probably the main shop.

Edit: did a quick search of my texts from last go around. It opened at 6am.

Yes, @HeadNerd, the VQ opened twice - it was 6am and 1pm, I think? I remember 6am because I did it from the Disneyland Hotel before heading over the the ACC. I snagged an early time, but was able to do standby so it wasn't needed. Looks like that won't be possible this year.

I found mine in my account at tickets.d23.com - if you click on the ticket type of the purchase, it'll drop down - there's a Print / View Tickets link at the bottom that opens up the code.

If you go to the page I'm talking about in my previous post - if you click on the Apple Wallet link, it should download a pkpass file - if you open it, it should let you add it to Google Wallet. (That used to not work, but they've apparently added pkpass functionality to Wallet - I was surprised to see it work just now.)

Thank you. I’ve saved it but I don’t think these will be the official entrance tickets since it’s a QR code and it’s from Disney directly. Almost all venues these days use a tap to enter or a dynamically changing barcode and I’m assuming that d23 will be using Honda centers regular ticket readers.

That they (apparently) haven't sent out emails yet (at least, I haven't gotten one) makes me think you're right.

But it wouldn't be out of the question to use this kind of ticket. If you download the PDF from that same page, it's a fully-branded Ultimate Fan Event ticket with block letters saying: "Admission for Evening Showcase at Honda Center Only." (There's a standard barcode on it, and a security code at the bottom.)

I went to a large festival concert a couple of weeks ago that used standard QR codes for admission - they scanned mine out of Google Wallet. I think the key there - they weren't using Ticketmaster.

Ducks games use a Ticketmaster frontend - in that specific case, the technology you're describing is theirs. In this case, I'd be gently surprised Disney would spend money to interface with TM (unless they had to). If I had to bet, I'd wager that they'll just use handheld scanners at the door that are tied to Disney's ticketing system. But if Honda Center has some kind of exclusivity deal with Ticketmaster - Disney might have to work with them in some capacity, which might explain the delay.

Regarding overlapping events and shopping VQ. I assume you can leave an event midway through. In the past, has there been no re-entry?

Do they not allow you to be a little late if you were in a panel like they did with dining reservations and FP in the past?

I also got my Honda center tickets yesterday and was able to add to my wallet just fine. I also downloaded the PDF of my tickets to have just in case.

I feel like I already won the lottery by getting all my one day passes for ACC... not holding much hope for RSP luck given how well everything is working so far!

Thanks for posting about the HC codes. The e-mail for me went into my "Promotions" folder in Gmail with all the other spam. LOL.

Did you wash it in warm or cold water and did you turn it inside out? Mine has been through the wash at least 2 or 3 times (I’ve worn it at least once and washed it before wearing the first time). I washed in cold water with tumble dry low turned inside out. No peeling on mine so far.

I’m not surprised where anything is located based on that media preview before tickets went on sale. It had been announced at that event that the premiere stage was going to move into the arena and that the archives stage was going to double size.
