I'm worried if the 11/18 date is to be believed then us non-Wilderness Explorer VIPs might be shut out of a ROL VIP D23 party. Surely hope not.

Yeah hope so too..I would love to see it..we are celebrating my boyfriend's birthday that week and had originally planned to watch it for the first time then.

If you were planning on buying a MagicBand, I would wait until after registration. At the 2014 Destination D, there was a special D23 Destination D MagicBand given out to all attendees.

For after 3pm tickets, I'm not seeing what you are seeing. This screenshot below doesn't list 2016 or 2018 dates. I am looking at the convention link that came in my D23 confirmation email here:

So this suggests I'll be getting another. I'd love to link it to a phantom for SDFP. Wondering how that works or if the phantom will have to match the name on my D23 ticket.

I'm not sure what you mean by phantom, but we received them not linked yet, but linked them ourselves with the ID on the back - so they were not connected to our names directly.

Linking it myself would be great.

In order to be used for FP they have to be linked. So some people link extra MBs to a second "phantom" MDE profile in order to book same day FPs while in the park. Complicated. But it won't work if you link them to a profile that has advance FPs already booked.

No. Have you bought your tickets? Check the link included there. I just checked 1 person from Fri - Mon and there is a room at CR for $389. Other dates are listed available. Might depend on # of guests and which nights.

I got in... Can't seem to get anything for Friday/Saturday or just Saturday night. Would love to get Saturday night. We live about an hour from the parks but I guess we'll be driving!

You might have to take the ferryboat to MK, and then walk over to the CR. The MoG popup store is scheduled to open at 7 am.

So the earliest we could leave the TTC to head towards the MK (in order to get to the Contemp) for D23 is 830am? That doesn't seem right... We wouldn't make the 9am start time.

Check the Times Guide when it comes out. Monorail closures have been an issue. Shouldn't be for the weekend, but forewarned is forearmed.
