rteetz...just wanted to give you a big thanks for all that you do. Your efforts on this thread today, and all your work on the main news thread is really awesome. Thanks so much man!
Thanks! The front page of this thread should be up to date with all the news so far

I also started a thread just on the skippers canteen.

I'm not so sure about Good Dinosaur just yet... From what I've read, I feel like they are throwing every possible curve at you to make you emotional. Pixar is usually pretty good at doing precisely that , but with how troubled this film has been since the beginning, I'm afraid that many of these last minute additions are going to feel a bit forced. I'll be happy to be proven otherwise.

They've just announced Coco, the Day of the Death film by Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich. The protagonist is Miguel, a 12 year old mexican boy. And that's basically it. They showed some test animation. No idea on why the film is named Coco.

Now they are moving on to Toy Story 4.

EDIT: Nvm, Coco is Bogeyman in Spanish. Spanish is actually my native language but I didn't notice that lol

That seems to be the long rumored dia de Los muertos movie they have been working on.

YAY! I was hoping they wouldn't cancel the Day of the Dead movie after Book of Life came out! (was worried they might have thought it would be too similar in nature)

Thank goodness for one original movie. I don't mind Incredibles or Finding Nemo sequel, but I find 4 out of the next 6 Pixar movies being sequels to be rather disappointing. Inside Out was so original and marvelous, though revisiting characters is nice, it's rare that a sequel can surprise you in any way that a new movie can. Makes me look forward to the Disney Animation slate more, and its been a LONG time since I've said that.

totally agree ... huge toy story fan, and definitely have mixed feelings about toy story 4; i was a kid when the first one came out, and loved it; the second one was okay, as an adult I loved the 3rd one and feel like this was not only because of the story but because it was such a long time in between movies
