"Walt Disney's name is going to be on this. Aim high." - John Lasseter regarding his approach to head WDAS
Nice cameo to horizons (could possibly what you're thinking of). I think their approach with avatar is smart and I think is going to ultimately help make it successfulFrom **************, interesting videos from the Avatar Exhibit.

Here's one explaining how it relates to Earth, Rohde spinning it to work with DAK. Introducing an Eco Tourism Company known as ACE. Reminds me of this one other tourism company through the cosmos, was it Star Tours?
So this whole thing is a vacation package, taking you to Pandora. Interesting. The military facilities seen are old ones belonging to the evil humans from the movie, and now they've been converted to ACE.
GIGANTIC artwork

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the prior post @luisov
Me too! Everyone is saying that she looks stunning... no surprise there...I want to use all the expletives right now knowing that all those people at the film panel got to see Emma Watson as Belle. I couldn't care less about the film, I'm sick of all the live-action remakes, but still.
Agreed. I am for sure going to hit up the next D23 in 2017. It would just be icing on the cake if it was in FL vs CA.This whole thing is actually making me quite mad to know that D23 was originally supposed to go back and forth between the coasts. Orange County Convention Center is actually 3 times as big as ACC thanks to the three different concourses. And, I was JUST at ACC for VidCon a couple of weeks ago. Looks like I need to plan to head back for next year's con.
Yeah, I could have gone without them telling us that....Not much about Moana so far. They've shown some footage, The Rock appeared... a few details we didn't know. There is an impressive lava monster... Moana has a pigglet sidekick (of course) named Púa. Apparently, the ocean itself is pretty impressive and lively. They have a team that makes sure everything is as historically accurate as possible. It's a music-heavy film, and the music will have lots of South Pacific influences. There is a clip that was shown and that could be considered a BIG spoiler, so I won't mention that.
I'm definitely excited for a music heavy south pacific visual stunner. Not much about Moana so far. They've shown some footage, The Rock appeared... a few details we didn't know.
