i am not a competitive sort and i usually am not on enough. when i do pop on i need to read a zillion posts, cause i love all the banter.
I am bowing out of the game, because of said tardiness on your TR, but i definately will enjoy reading the answers while catching up!

If you are going to have people post answers in white might I suggest you don't quote their response...or delete it? Once you quote it...it shows up on a dark background. Or at least it does on mine, might be the color settings I have which isn't the default one....dunno.

So I can't guess on this one as it's now inadvertent cheating since I can see everyone's answers so far.

I don't recall this being a problem in last games but maybe you didn't quote the response?

OK, so I guess we'll have to go to PMing, which is a big pain in the doody, but it will make it fair. So,

I guess this may have to end up being a warm up question, and I"ll post a new one tomorrow....

It must be your color settings. For me the quoted text is on yellow and with my screen here, I can't read the white on the yellow. However, if I would try really hard, I can actually make out the white on white... But I don't.

Oh I am so glad to see you posting! Liesa just mentioned on LL's TR that you were in an accident this weekend. But your post sounds like you are ok? I hope it wasn't too bad!

I was in an accident. I was on my home from FL, driving through Mobile, when a horrible rainstorm came through. The rain was so hard that many of us were driving with our flashers on.

Two teenagers in a blue pickup truck were driving in front of me and were going to fast for the conditions - they hydroplaned and took 5 cars with them. When it was over, they were flipped on their side and had come to rest on a telephone pole. I was run off the road, but managed to avoid any oncoming traffic or really hurting my car at all.

We got the kids out of the truck and helped an older lady and a child - but no one was seriously injured.

I am really sore today from the impact, but otherwise totally fine.

We were very blessed! It could have been so, so much worse.

I don't think you need to switch to PM's - just don't quote anyone's answers and that should solve the issue with Cynthia seeing it in the quote. Everyone seems fine with the responses in white.

yeah, it's white on tan in the quote so jumps out on the page!

I actually just did a WHOLE 25 minute run!!!!!!!!!!!!



I am so totally stoked! Remember last April, when I could barely run 90 seconds without my lungs exploding!?? 25 minutes! I can hardly contain myself.

However, I'm whipped! It's 10:00 and I just walked in the door, and need to hit the sack. So, I'll have to pick this up, and get to all of your great threads also, tomorrow!
