Isn't it against your law for people to homeschool there?
The law does not say that homeschooling isn't allowed. It is just that all children are obliged to attend school until a certain age. Which admittedly has the same result and that's why I said that homeschooling isn't an option. This obligation to attend a school was introduced as early as in the 16th century and during industrialization in the 19th century it was an important factor to reduce child labor. So it has a very long tradition and is considered to have many positive aspects. And it does not have to be a state school, but private schools (often church schools, but also others) can be visited as well.

I am so sorry. I guess sitting in a civilized country one cannot really imagine that getting something simple like a tetanus shot can be really nasty in a developing country!
I hope the knowledge about your WDW trip not being in the distant future anymore will help you to get through this and is at least a small comfort!

Time is getting closer!!

Between reading about Andrew's graduation, just coming off of my son's and seeing ToyStory3 again with my son next to me holding my hand (to comfort me) I'm a total flippin mess right now!!!
<--- This sums it up nicely.
er.... I mean, there there

Sending pixie dust your way - Hope you are feeling much better this morning!!
