Has anyone ever been? Recommended or not?

Looking to go July 10th... wondering if anyone rates another "Marriott"
property more aof a must do.
We really plan on doing more SeaWorld than Disney...
Thanks for input!

We just booked a trip there for next February with two other families and are very excited. It consistently gets rave reviews. We have stayed at Grande Vista and liked it, but somehow Cypress Harbour seemed more appealing from the photos and reviews to me.

ETA: We stayed at HGVC Sea World last year and loved it, and you could walk to Sea World from there as it's right across from the SW parking lot. Marriott Cypress Harbour and Horizons are behind HGVC so you can't walk as far as I know, but it's very close.

We stayed at CH 2X and like it a lot. Also stayed at Horizons and would recommend this if you have small kids. Horizons is more compact with lots of amusements for the little ones.

I highly recommend this resort, it is just outstanding. Great location near SeaWorld. Marriott's Grande Vista is also in the general area and is quite similar to Cypress Harbour in terms of resort amenities and activities. Many with younger children rave about the activities and pool at the Marriott Horizons resort that is across the street from Cypress Harbour but I'm given to understand that the rooms may not be as nice as those at CH or GV.

Thank you all for the responses! I am soooo excited!:goodvibes
I hate to go places "on the blind" but I feel much better reading your reviews!
My kids are 4,10,14 so I'm not sure we'd even be around enough to do kids activities... does CH offere any at all?

Thanks a bunch!
Kathy

It has lots of things to do - but even better it will also have something for your 10 and 14 - not just the 4 year old.

Take a look at this page from Marriott Vacation Club's website http://www.vacationclub.com/resorts/cy/resortFeatures.jsp. Most of the childrens' activities are listed at the bottom of the page. Also click around, there are several pages describing Cypress Harbour.

Enjoy your trip!

You will love it. I have stayed there several times and it is just great. The rooms are big and roomy and the grounds are impeccable. The pool is great. Just a great value all around.

I have a hard time booking on-site now because I know what a great deal the Marriot is.

Have fun!! :thumbsup2
