any one been here since it reopened? WE are thinking about going. WOUld love any input!

I was there in December. They offered a two day for the price of one ticket option which worked out well. We spent most of the two days (7 days apart) in the newer ride area of the park. I had never been to CG before and was quite impressed. Regis Philbin and Susan Lucci were there on the first day on stage. The gardens are very nice and the Christmas decorations were very pretty. It is a nice place to get away from the crowds of the other theme parks.

Cypress Gardens is located about 20 minutes from where I live so I've been there numerous times. It is really lovely... and fun!

Here are some photos I took over the past year.

Cypress Gardens

It is about a 60 minute drive from the world and just wonderful. We went last February(it had only been reopened for a short time at that point due to the storms) It is peaceful and beautiful. They do have rides, but not the big ones like WDW, that is not what it is about. The gardens are great, the topiraries(sp), the butterfly house and the water ski show. This was one of Florida's original attractions pre Disney and they are celebrating 70 years. They also have free concerts, check the schedule. Hope you enjoy it. :sunny:
