Cvs weekly 8/9-8/16

Ok, first time doing two separate transactions. Very proud of my haul today!!

GREAT job!!

I had to share this Kmart info with all of you. Double coupons is coming up at Kmart the week of 8/16. These ladies have put together a list of cheap and free items with coupon match ups. They've also listed IP's. It says they will keep updating as they find more deals. http://livingwithinthelimits.blogspot.com/2009/08/kmart-doubles-shopping-list.html

That's really cool, thanks! I am scared of our K-Mart employees :lmao: but maybe I will have to go anyway.

I have sad news (for me!), the test market here is officially over :( No more shopping on Wednesdays for me, which also means that I'll miss the entire sale the week beginning 8-23-09 because Mexico does not have a CVS, they have Walmart, so someday maybe....

Oh no! I was hoping since the ad came in today's mail that it was still on. I'm sad too! :sad1: How long will you be in Mexico? Are you cruising? :lovestruc

Do you really think our KMarts will be doubling? The last few months when I've seen double coupons posted, we haven't had them here.

We are cruising, first driving:scared1: to New Orleans in our tiny car, because, of course, something might happen to the Mustang while we are gone. I don't want to ride in that thing anyway :rotfl: but it being swept away by a hurricane is a funny thought to me, not that I would wish a hurricane on anything other than that car!

I think if our K-Marts could, they would charge us double for using coupons! How about you check first? :lmao:

I did GREAT at CVS today, even though I lost my AJAX coupons and forgot to use my Sharpie coupons. But the cashier was so patient and let me return the Sharpies and rering them using my coupons!! How nice!!:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 I always wondered if anyone ever tried to make a list of coupon matches for KMart. I only go in our closest store about once a year. When you walk in it reeks...no joke it literally stinks. I think its from the air conditioning system. I'd attempt it again for free stuff though.

I am not typically a Kmart shopper either, but the last time they did double coupons I stumbled across a site that listed some great deals you could get there on diapers and wipes. At the time there was a $2 off Pampers coupon out and then Kmart gave you a $10/$10 crt if you spent so much on diapers. It worked out great. Now I keep my eyes open for their double days. Otherwise, I'm at Target!

OK, so now I've looked at this and have 2 question:

1. Will the double coupon be limited to just the items they listed or across the board for any coupon you use?

2. If I have a BOGO coupon of a Free item coupon does that make both items free?

I have never used coupons at Kmart but I get the idea that they are picky. I have to say we have 3 Kmarts within a short driving distance and all are well kept, clean, and everyone has be professional. I guess we may be the exception.

First, make sure your KMarts are participating. I looked at another site and I saw a lot of stores in IL and MI and just a couple in TN. So start there. Call them before you spend a lot of time sorting through your coupons.

On the other website, it said they were now limiting the number of coupons you can use per day. I think it said a limit of 10 per day. I don't know how they would be able to keep track of that. It sounded like you could use any coupon and not just those on the list. I don't know the answer to your BOGOF question. At CVS the answer would be YMMV and maybe that's the same with KMart?

When we had doubles several months ago there weren't any limits (actually I'm thinking now that the limit may have been 75) on how many you could use and they doubled anything up to $2.00 if I remember right. I guess that was too good of a deal.

I knew you would have the info I needed.:lovestruc Did you just do a google search for Kmart double coupon to find the other site?

No, but since you mentioned it, I just did that now. :lmao: It sounds like some KMarts are still accepting up to 75 coupons and others just 10 and and others anything in between. :confused3 So it sounds like it all boils down to YMMV. I hope your store is participating and will be good to you!:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Me too. We shall see.:cool2: Thanks for the help.

I haven't shopped at Kmart for awhile. The cashiers there are mean!

However, from what I have read you can not double a BOGO coupon, you can only double a coupon with a stated value. You can use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale to get both items free though.

I can't believe I am up and have been up for over an hour - going through my CVS envelope - I guess I am now officially among the CVS crazed!:rotfl2: But I have another technical question for you all. During all the 3 day back to school sales I faithfully collected school supply rain checks, but then was able to locate a lot of it by shopping multiple stores. Can I use the rainchecks now on the same card weeks later even though I purchased those items already? Or should I just throw them away? The 5.00 off 15.00 school supply ecb is really tempting me... combined with the 5 off 25 coupon. But I don't want to get in any trouble with my card either. TIA!:goodvibes

Anybody out there? I am itching to leave for CVS and am too chicken to try this....:goodvibes

hey everyone, I haven't kept up with this thread...but was wondering if anyone knows if the summer stuff is marked down yet. Last year I cleaned them out of the swim diapers when they were 90% off which brought them down to a 94 cents, and of course I just happened to have a stack of $1.00 of manufacturer coupons for them :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1 Our CVS is not convienent to get to for me, so I only go if there is a big deal like that.

So anyone know what it is down to?

Officially it is at 40% nationally. Swim diapers may or may not be included, that's up to each store.

The first batch of "summer" is anywhere between 40-90% at stores, it's ice pops, candy, foods, spices, grilling things, etc.

The second batch of "summer" is lawn chairs, pool toys, footwear, etc. This is the ad-official 40% group.

The stores are only required to put things on clearance that show in the ad. That price is updated from corporate like weekly sale prices are. Each store then has the ability to adjust prices lower at the store level.

Mean (lol) stores take items they want to clearance out of inventory, draw a line through the UPC and mark it as taxable or non-taxable. When they do this, you can't use coupons on those items.

Thanks, I think I head over there and see what my store has them marked at.

Does anybody know of any Papermate or GArnier coups? Specifically Garnier haircolor? I have done a search and got nothing.
