Cvs weekly 8/9-8/16

Does anyone know if the Huggies Pure and Natural are included in this week's deal? I have a bunch of $3 q's for those and only one for the regular huggies. I was hoping to get a few packs for a baby shower coming up.

CVS doesn't carry that line. Once or twice I may have accidently used those coupons and since they don't beep at the register I didn't realize it until later.....

I have no idea! I want to know when you started to be able to get negative subtotals!

I was shopping at the store in Third Lake, right on the border between Gurnee and Lindenhurst.

Maggie

I have gotten negative subtotals before, but they always made me buy something else.

I didn't realize we are so close. I always go to Lindenhurst, which has awesome cashiers that will help you get deals, push through beeping q's, etc. The new store in Antioch just opened though, and I got a $10/20 in the mail so I went there yesterday. I don't think I will go back for awhile though. They really need to get the kinks worked out. My moms 5/25 from the quiz beeped and no one could figure out how to push it through. And then one of our receipts jammed and didn't print ECB's. They told me to call the CVS 800 number to get them reprinted. I had to tell them how to reprint them. Can you imagine calling corporate and telling them the paper jammed? What a joke! So far it doesn't seem like there is anyone in Antioch working the free deals so there will be stock, but useless cashiers.

Reminder... keep taking the quiz each day on CVS.com and the $5/$25 coupon that prints will have a later expiration date. If you've taken it already, follow the instructions here to get a new unique code.

Glad you stayed, a warning for everyone is to never leave the store when that happens. A cashier put the paper in backwards when I had a $25 extra buck coming and it was blank. Store manager shrugged and said I was out of luck - this was before they could manually print extra bucks.

I was on the phone 5 different times with 1-800-SHOPCVS and they never reset it.

Recently the register tape ran out on me too, but all I lost was my CRTs for the week, there were about 4 and it bugged me for days.

I read the directions but since I use a MAC I don't have a right/left click on the mouse. Any ideas on how to get around that, LanaJae?

On a better note~~I am now finding some cooperative pharmacists including Craig at the new Woodbury store. Thanks for the encouragement on that one, LanaJae!

Did you find summer clearance at any of the stores that was more than 40%? I couldn't spot anything at Mahtomedi, W. St. Paul, or the new Woodbury store.

I go to the Lindenhurst store once in a great while if the one in Third Lake is out of something I really want. Do you mean the one on Grand Ave.?

I didn't hear about the new store in Antioch.

I've never even touch a MAC in my life lol, so I don't know other than if you can find someplace for "flash" settings for that particular site.

Glad you got a Ready-Fill, they'll end up throwing a ton out if they don't get busy and start giving them to people. They had pads and pad of $3/15 to hand out and they didn't do it and they expired.

I didn't go out looking for clearance, if Maryland went 90%, it's gone as the employees take nearly everything there. I got sucked into Cub deals again yesterday.

Tried my second store today and summer stuff was only 50% and they had tons of the Italian Ices. So hopefully they marked them down again soon.

A few Rite Aid deals for those interested....nothing too exciting this week. The Scotch pop up tape is $2.49 with $2.49 rebate. If you can find the desk grip one, there are $2 coupons making it a moneymaker. I only found the wristband kind and the coupon does beep so YMMV on if they push it through (my store did not).

Clear Eyes Redness Relief is part of their .99 stock up sale. The $1 coupon from this weeks circular works making it free. Also, the BIC soleil is $5.99 with a $2 rebate. Using the $3 coupon it comes to .99 which isn't too bad a deal if you have extra coupons to use up.

So what you're saying is that I might be able to "accidentally" use them, too? ;)

Well I know I had them, and they mysteriously disappeared. The worst that can happen is the nice CVS cashier points out your mistake.;)

Yup the one on Grand. Mike is one of the assistant managers who works Sunday mornings and is my favorite cashier! He always helps me get the lowest subtotal and never is annoyed with so many coupons, etc. But everyone there is helpful and I have never had problems getting deals there.

In Antioch a store just opened on the corner of 173 & 59. They sent out a welcome mailer with coupons so we went. The store is well stocked, and it doesn't seem like anyone is getting the ECB deals there. However, the cashiers are still learning and working out the kinks. Plus it is busier with people buying your random bottles of pop, etc. and ECB transactions easily hold up the line.

Is anyone using the $5/25 tomorrow?

I have 3 free Nature's Source cleaners that I was given and the free Glade candle from this week's inserts. I can always use more baby wipes, paper towels, and toilet paper. Any other suggestions for getting up to 25 without spending actual money? I did this weeks deals already.

Just received a $5/25 coupon good for one day only, Aug. 12! :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh I haven't seen you here in forever!!! How are you? I completely missed your post or I would've said hi sooner!

This is the only thing I can think of, each set of toothpaste/toothbrush with one coupon will up your total to $5.79 I think, if the cashier doesn't total prior to the $/$$, because the BOGO doesn't come off until it's totaled:

Buy a Colgate Total toothpaste and a Colgate Wave toothbrush that are BOGO and use $3 coupon from coupons.com and its free and up to a 21¢ money-maker but won't beep because of the BOGO sale. Coupon does say "available at Walgreens" but wording says it can be redeemed anywhere coupons are accepted.

Coupons.com, use zip code 85031

Use up to 3 coupons (6 items) per transaction.

Piecey, I love those pictures of your son. The second one makes me smile every time!

Thank you! :lovestruc:
Poor Rink, I used to get complimented on him and now it's all about Lucas! :lmao:

...I'll be trying out those Huggies Pure and Natural coupons tomorrow. If it works, I might use my mom's card, too. :rolleyes1 Thanks!

You could use the free Glade candle coupons from this weekend's coupons or the printable for Ajax.
