Cvs weekly 7/26-8/2

They need them before you scan your items. They enter it, price modify if needed (say a sale price with an ecb deal) then you pay as usual and they take your receipt and rescan something and it forces your ecbs to print. You can roll and pay as usual.

They are not supposed to void it as free or just give you the item free anymore, that is the pre-event code way to do it.

Forced ecbs print out rounded up to the nearest dollar. A $2.49 forced ecb is worth $3, a $7.99 worth $8. Get rainchecks whenever they are out. With the new forced system sometimes it allows you to double dip if you hold it until the product is doing ecbs again. It doesn't always work but sometimes ;).

Thanks for the printable links! :)

YMMV. I have had them rung up both ways. The last raincheck I redeemed was for a free after ECB item and the cashier scanned it then voided it so I just got it for free. Not sure that is the right way to do it since that probably screws up their inventory count.

Thanks guys for the help.

Just ran to the 24 hour store and did 2 transactions.

If you do the Kashi deal make sure that the granola bars ring up at the sale price. I got 2 boxes of the Trail Mix flavor and one of the Honey Oat (or something like that) and didn't notice until I got home that the Honey flavor bars scanned at the regular price so I didn't get the ECB for that deal. I need to go back tomorrow and get a price adjustment so that the ECB will print.

If you have a raincheck for the Carnation Instant Breakfast, there is a coupon in the Sunday paper and these are marked down on clearance for $4.27. You get the sale price then the coupon off of that then a $5 ECB. :thumbsup2

Did you leave anything for me? :rolleyes1
I am waiting for the thunderstorm to end so I can leave. :headache:

Another great week for CVS, its going to be sad when CVS has a bad ad! Next few weeks look great, so hopefully they keep up the competition. I wish the BIC coupons were still up so I could have printed a couple more, but hopefully most of the stock is here tomorrow!

What is the Carnation deal? I have a raincheck from a while ago when they were free after ECB's.

That's the one. The price on this now is $4.27 on clearance. If you get this and use the coupon (it was either .75 or $1 off) and redeem your raincheck then you will get a $5 ECB so it is a money maker. Does that make sense?

All I did was the Kashi deal from this week's ad - oh and 1 box of the free tampons. The rest was from last week. I'll be heading back in the morning to get the Kashi deal fixed and try to get some of the freebies.

What part of Orlando are you in? We may be moving there next summer. I hope there are plenty of CVS stores around!

I tried using the 2 $2 Bic coupons on the BOGO tonight and I got a stubborn cashier that wouldn't accept both b/c of the BOGO sale. I haven't had to deal with problem cashiers in awhile, what should I have told her? I'm going to get more tomorrow and I'll need a plan of what to say just in case!

Somebody help! I printed 2 coupons for $1.50 off blink eye drops and do not have a clue why. Since all I have worked on for this week is CVS it must have been for there. Did I miss a deal????

Thanks! Just got back and picked up the Carnation with my raincheck. I didn't have the coupon, but still a good deal as my DD7 drinks this every morning for breakfast!

We're in .. Kissimmee, I guess you could call it. Or Clermont. It's like border between a bunch of cities and counties. There are a bunch of CVS here, but none right near our house, and *alot* of CVSers, I went to a few on a Sunday and all 4 of them were OOS. Thankfully, it hasn't been that bad lately though.

I believe that is next week, so you didn't miss a deal yet!

I went last night to my 24 hour store and picked up 4 packs of the triumph pens (all that was left) then I went this morning to my other store that opens at 8am....got there at 8:30am and all the triumph were gone! I still have 2 coupons left and received a raincheck, but I find it harder to use 2 coupons on a BOGO when I have a raincheck. Oh well! Good thing is the coupons do not expire until 2010...

Went this morning. Got two reams of paper, index card holder, stapler, binder clips, two packs of pens, two composition books, and 3 candy bars.

I used the $4 off $20 from earlier in the thread and it beeped but the cashier overrode it.
With coupons and ECB's I paid tax only and got $12 ECBs. :)

Good filler:

Neutrogena cosmetics are BOGO, there were $3/1 coupons in both July and August All You Magazine and also in the 6-21-09 Red Plum.

Lip Boost is $6.49 (49¢ for 2 after 2 coupons)
Moisture Shine Gloss is $6.99 (99¢ for 2 after 2 coupons)

I tried using the 2 $2 Bic coupons on the BOGO tonight and I got a stubborn cashier that wouldn't accept both b/c of the BOGO sale. I haven't had to deal with problem cashiers in awhile, what should I have told her? I'm going to get more tomorrow and I'll need a plan of what to say just in case!

I think both afullcup and hotcouponworld have emails posted from customer service that say that you can use 2 coupons on a BOGO or use a free coupon on a BOGO to get 2 free products.

Oh shoot! We will be on vacation next week. May have to make a run while we are in Tampa.

You probably also have a $4 Blink coupon to use instead, it is from the 5-31-09 Red Plum.

I'm too late again!

No prints available!:sad2:

Sorry :( They ran out fast because the word was out on all the sites.

Hit 2 cvs's this morning..was able to get all the school supplies - the bogo bic making it free w/the coupon (mine were 4.29) also hit staples for a couple of the .25c deals...

I needed vitamins - flinstone were b1g1 50% off so i used the 4/20 and through in some other stuff - coupone beeped but she was nice and pushed it through....

I hit 2 CVS today and got all the freebie school supplies, tampons, BIC Triumphs and Colgate Advanced. I also did the Arm & Hammer detergent deal with 2 $1 coupons.

I had a $2/2 Aussie coupon so I did that deal and used the free styler coupon with purchase of shampoo as well. Both stores accepted it....but when I got home I realized the free styler coupon was for Herbal Essence. Oops!

The Colgate Cavity was on sale here for .99 so I used up all my Colgate coupons expiring on 8/1. I also bought the Softsoap for .99 using the IP and 2 Palmolive with a $1/2 coupon. Finally I bought the Rimmel pressed powder....$5.29 but 40% off so came to $3.17. I used the $3 coupon which I think came from All You magazine.

For Rite Aid'ers:
I had another good day at Rite Aid. Use your Nuetrogena coupons here if you can because they double count for some rebates. If you buy the lip glosses it is a money maker! The Daisy Fuentes hair care has $2 coupons on the bottles so only .49 for those. The Softsoap is also only .89 here and the coupon scans for the entire $1. I also did the Kotex deal and Herbal essence deal here using the free styler coupon, and the Noxema razors using a $1 coupon. Combined with a $5/$25 it is another moneymaker week here and most of the stuff gives you a head start on some of the gift card rebates!

Did pretty good today !! Got the free notebooks, palmolive using the c/o I used all my mentos c/os and got $10 worthplus I got the tub of Twizzlers for $5 so got my ecb I will use these for park treats and goodiebags for the girls bithdayAlso dithe OralB /Colgate deal ,the Aussie dealand the speedstix !! each time my oop was pretty low and I haveecb's for next week!!
