CVS weekly 3/14-3/20

Here in Northern CA, the ad has .99 Herbal Essences and .99 Aussie so with only the coupons-they are free. I had some 20-somethings behind me buying 75+ HE and they didn't even have coupons. I asked if they were ebaying (flea market maybe) but she said they are usually $4.99 so they were stocking up.

The $5 off 20 coupon did not happen last week for the first time. Super sad since it was a great week :-(

Since everyone was having so much luck with their Purex BOGO coupon I dug mine out of the recycle tonight before running up to get some meds for DH. The coupon wouldn't scan and the cashier said "Sorry, I can't take it because the item is already BOGO." I didn't tell him it might be because the coupon is expired. Oh, well, better luck next time. I actually had him void out the purex cause I didn't want it if it wasn't free.

All in all I did pretty well tonight. I had to buy trashbags - $8.99 and meds for DH - $7 so $17 OOP and $8 ECB back including $1 for my green bag tag - I'm now making money on that deal - I overspent on the Glade deal and I'm going to return one of the candles I picked up but the way I figure except for my mistake with the Glade - I actually got all my ECB items for free. I might try the Purex BOGO again, as , but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. After I return the glade item I should be at $15 in OOP which will be just right for what I planned as OOP.

On a Rite-aid note. For those of you who shop Rite-aid's specials there was a $5/$25 printable coupon on coupons.com tonight.

I went tonight and got the Free after ECB and coupons Right Guard. I also picked up 2 of the Essence of Beauty portables (makeup wedges). I will put them in DDs Easter Basket. The cheapest I could find was 2/$5 with $2ECB back. Someone on Hotcouponworld posted they found makeup wedges at .99 but I couldn't find anything.

My store was OUT OF ADS tonight. What?? Its Tuesday??????? Unfortunately I left my copy on the kitchen table when I headed out, so I was doing this all from memory and the list I made.

2 -BOGO stayfree (I actually bought two papers the week this coupon was out, I was so excited to find I had 2 qs!)

2 -$1.50 Right Guard
1- $3 centrum

paid most with ECBs OOP was $2.74
received: 8ECB - stayfree, 2- Right Guard, 2- Centrum

I was a happy camper! Although now I have 4 packs of pads I don't use! Guess I'll finally get around to finding a women's shelter to donate too!

I don't see a Stayfree ECB deal in my flyer. Did I miss something? I have those coupons(BOGO) and if there are ECBs to get too I'll make another trip!

It is a monthly ECB special. I don't believe it was ever advertised but you get $2 ECB for certain packages (most priced at 3.99) limit 4.

I had to get a prescription filled so I was looking around today and they had a TON of clearance stuff.

I got 2 Veet hair remover gel things for .54c each!
Got the $1 CVS paper towel coupon, too, so got a roll for .29c...
