CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 9/7-9/13

It's A Happy Day

I'm so sorry for you loss.

I only made to to CVS once this week on Sunday. I got 2 Aussie scuplting gels, 1 Revlon nail color, and 1 package of CVS q-tips. I used a $5 ECB and only paid $1.50 OOP. I had a coupon for the Aussie, 1 CRT and 1 manufactors coupon for the Revlon and the cashier let me use my free travel size swabs coupon on the larger package.

LanaJae, Thanks for the Walgreens deals. I already finished with CVS for the week and I was looking at other deals that may be around. I will go and do the cleaner deal and the use that RR for the mouthwash deal and get some free Chex mix on top of that!!!

That's a good idea!

If someone wanted to do all the deals this week, you could use your Register Reward from any of the deals to pay the balance on the other deals, such as Crest Rinse $4.50 to pay for Robitussin balance ($2.97 so you'd need to have $1.53 in other items) and then use the Robitussin $10 to pay balance on cleaning supplies.

It'd look like this (3 separate transactions):

I have the magic bullet and SOOOOOO LOVE IT!!! I went to different walgreens and bought 5 of em!!

because I have the 16 pg ad for CVS that does not include Chex, I went to WAGS today.

would only let me use one of my $1 coupons...why? The strange rules combined with frustrations with RR make me frustrated with Walgreens.

BUt then, I find a fabulous deal and my opinion changes...

Did find the Magic Bullet (15.97)and a chopper/blender combo (7.97). I'm trying to decide which to keep and which to give as a wedding gift.

Anyone have a the Bullet and love it?

Good deals! I am patiently waiting for the CVS truck and hoping someone ordered Tri-Scents so I can combine that with 2 more deodorants, and maybe I'll get lucky and some Arnicare will come in :rotfl:

Hope your truck comes in!! :goodvibes

Hi, guys. I found a 4/$20 coupon that expires on Saturday. Calling out to you to help.

I've already maxed out on the:
Triscents
Revlon Nail Color
Herbal Essence
Right Guard Pro
L'oreal Revitalift
Bayer Contour

Any suggestions on what I should get to make it worth spending $16? Or should I risk waiting until Saturday night and hope that next week's sale is set?

THANK YOU for all your great posts!

Thank you too :) Sounds like the $3 Robitussin coupon has been changed to $1 now (if you haven't printed them yet), but Dimetapp probably still has a $2 coupon: https://j.ovm1.net/wch1/universalreg/Registration.aspx?reg=true&product=di&c=1245&s=01&p=DIM06001

Also, even though not advertised as this, Benadryl is working for buy 3 at $3.99 and receive $10 RR, and there are $1 mfg. coupons around - so either Dimetapp or Benadryl can be a backup.

Arnicare would work good if your store has it, they are supposed to be $8.99 with $8 ECB (limit 5, monthly deal), but are ringing up at $9.49. There is a $2 coupon at arnicare.com, but it beeps. If you got 2 and used 2 coupons, that would get you to $14.98 and you'd get $16 back.

Christophe shampoo/conditioners if they have the $5 peelies on them (2 for $5.98 after coupons and earn $5 ECB, limit 5, monthly deal)

Inspired by LanaJae, I went to Walgreens three times today. I had exactly 7 coupons for the cleaner deal from last Sunday's paper. They also had Glade plug ins and other home fragrances on sale, so I used coupons for them. After coupons I spent $13 for 7 cleaner products, two Glade plug ins with fan and refill (normally $9.99 each, marked down to $3.99 plus I had a BOGO coupon, so $3.99 for two), Renuzit home fragrance for .49 and one bag of Chex Mix .99. So I think I spent about $7.50 for the cleaners and received $10RR at the end.

My transaction #2 was for the Crest mouthwash (free after RR). I also bought more Chex Mix (I'm addicted to the dark chocolate and turtle mix) and some clearance school supplies. I paid .92 in cash, my $10 RR and received $4.50 RR for the mouthwash.

Transaction #3: I decided I wanted more cleaning supplies. I got two containers of the Windex wipes, used the $4.50 RR and cash for the rest. I got a $2 RR to use later.

I haven't done any mail-in-rebates at Walgreens so I passed on those deals. I like to RRs because they are so easy to use. And no cards to keep track of.

It sounds like a great plan Lisa. You know how we have to have one item to cover each coupon at CVS? It's sort of the same for Walgreens, unless you give the Register Reward first, but some cashiers will re-sort the coupons before they scan them so people often throw in a votive candle or a pencil (I think the candles are 17 cents this week) - you might need a filler like that when buying the Robitussin/Dimetapp. This is the best order for coupons (where I live): Walgreens weekly; Walgreens Instant Value (from Easy Saver Catalog); Register Rewards; Manufacturer.

I didn't notice the size for the Pro-Health on my coupon when I used it, but it scanned - mine was 75 cents, but they probably had the same wording.

You could also do this today or tomorrow with the $10/40 coupon if you found another item for under $1:

$4.49 Crest 500 ml Pro-Health Rinse
11.97 (2) Robitussin and (1) Dimetapp
$22.67 (7) cleaning products
87 cents (anything)
$40.00
-10.00/40 coupon: http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp?ec=hn540r_getcoupons
-1.00 Crest mfg.
-7.00 Robitussin and Dimetapp mfgs.
-9.75 clean product mfgs.
$12.25 (and earn $24.50 in Register Rewards)

Some people say that the stores make the total be $40 before all coupons, but most of the stores just need the total to be $40 after Walgreens coupons (which you don't have). You could print it and bring it along to try - then you'd have more RR money to spend later (or if you wanted to use the $10/40 again with that money).

I got the $4.50 for the crest, but my Walgreens wouldn't let me use it on my next purchase b/c she said I used manufactur coupons? I was PO'ed b/c now I have to remember to use it next time and I can't use coupons w/it??! I won't be doing my Walgreens again anytime soon!

I have never done the monitor thing....so would you guys help me...I am a monitor virgin:rotfl:
I have the coupons...
Why am I so nervous?
I see some of the monitors are in a glass case....
Since they are at the rx do I need to pay for them there?
Do I need a rx to buy it? Will they ask me for insurance?
I am not sure when I deal even is but its for the Breeze..the coupon I think says 30.00:confused3 popcorn::

Thanks LanaJae for the Walgreens deal :goodvibes I always need cleaning supplies and I was able to get 4 scrubbing bubbles and 3 windexs for a little over a dollar :worship: And I was also able to use the two Visine coupons and make a 1.01 profit on two of those :thumbsup2

I do have a question for the pro's......It's for next weeks deals ( our sales start here on Friday now) . I want to buy two of the outlast lipcolor which are 5.99 each and then you get back $3 if you spend $10. So I have a buy one get one free and a $1 coupon also.....is it better to give them the B1G1 coupon first and then the $1 off coupon or the other way around? THANKS :goodvibes

I tried it this morning and they would only take the B1G1 coupon and then the $1 off beeped and the lady I don't like so much said they couldn't take it...but a little over a dollar for two lipsticks worth $9.99 each isn't too bad ;) So I didn't fight it.

I'm so annoyed - my Walgreens does not have the 3.99 sale on the Robitussan/Dimetapp - it was full price 6.99 and not even in the flyer - did not do that deal - then on the cleaners, only the 2.59 were included - windex - spray and wash and the 2.49 scrubbing -???? mine did not even have the pledge deal? so the only thing i did was the crestrinse - used a 1.00 coupon and now i don't even know what to use my 4.50RR on?? i was just going to blow it on Milk, but you can't use it on dairy - i don't live Walgreens - i'm going to stick w/CVS!

Thanx anyone for all the great scenarios!

lisa
