CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 8/19-8/25

Is EBay the only place to buy coupons?

I have some CVS bucks which expired today. Is there any way to get them reinstated?

Hi there!! You can try calling the 1-800 number and having them reissue them. They may or may not...never know with CVS!! :lmao:

Sorry guys I just realized I posted on the wrong week. My bad

Just got back from cvs and wanted to tell someone my news.

1 Charmin TP - 1.99
1 Colgate tothpaste 2.99
1 Schick quattro 2.00

minus- 2.00 quatro coupon
-1.00 Charmin
- 3.98 ECB

Zero out of pocket. Yeah me.

I also am now convinced that this CVS thing is a sickness. I just counted and I have 24 razors and 11 tubes of tothpaste:rotfl: :rotfl:

IF anyone has and is not going to use the following coupon found in todays inserts I would appreciate it:

Free clorox wipes WYB 3 participating products. I need to pick up some of the wipes this week for my childrens classrooms at school and found this in todays paper. Also any coupons for the wipes as well.

So if anyone has extras could you please PM me? Thanks! :goodvibes

Can someone really explain the CVS card/extra care bucks? I have just started the grocery list and have been sucessful at it. I did not know whether to add CVS as one of my shopping stores because I do not understand how it works.

I saw the list early on on the sales for 8/18 - 8/25 but I am still confused. Do you use coupons HELP Please. :confused3

Does anyone know if ECBs can be used for on-line purchases as well as in-store purchases?

Thanks!!!!

Basically you purchase items at CVS that are ECB deals. You pay OOP for the 1st couple of transactions. My 1st trip was around $30-40. Then the ECB's print out on your receipt. You get 1 ECB per item purchased that qualified for an ECB. If you purchase multiples of the same item and there is a limit so read the small print, you will get 1 ECB for the total of those items purchased in a single transaction. So for example of this week, if you purchased:
2 aquafresh advanced (monthly deal limit 3) and
1 sea breeze astringent
you would pay those items (approx $10 OOP (out of pocket) and get back 1 ECB for 6.00 (2 aquafresh) and 1 ECB for $3.99 (sea breeze). These ECB's are good on your next transaction and have an expiration date of 30 days out. On your next order you put together you can apply the ECB's to it reducing the cost of that transaction by $10. Many people plan their shopping trips around how many ECB's they have so that they pay little out of pocket in subsequent trips. I try to limit my OOP expense to around the $2 mark. By adding coupons into the mix you further save money. Going back to the Aquafresh. It is already free AFTER the ECB. So by using a mfg coupon when purchasing the toothpaste you are reducing your actual cost by the amount of the coupon but they will still give you back the total amount of $2.99 in the form of an ECB, so now you have profited that amount and can use that towards other products. It is a little confusing the 1st couple times but people tend to get the hang of it pretty quick. Let us know if you have further questions after you read the other posts/thread.

Thank you! I think I have it. Now is there someone who post a list of items so you know what the deals are? Can I add them to the grocerygame list?

I'm new to the whole CVS thing and have been following the threads for the last few weeks. Can someone tell me what a CRT is?

A CRT is like a coupon that prints out with your receipt. I have a lot of $5 off $15 CVS brand purchase". I don't know when I will use those!!

I try to post the weekly deals but if you check out the other links in the original post (we are up to week through 9/8 posted on the budget board now) you will find a couple of other sites that have forums dedicated to just CVS as well. They are FREE sites. I am familiar with the grocerygame but found I could do the same thing using free sites and being the frugal fannie I am, I refuse to pay for that luxury. I know some people swear by it but I just can't do it. Also I started the CVS thing here on the DISboards because this is the 1 forum I frequent the most.

Yes, quoting myself!

I didn't have as many gum coupons as I thought I did, so I bought some more yesterday evening off of Ebay....I went back to re-read the auction I won...I'm a dummy....I must've misread or miscalculated something...but I have 100 of those $1/1 coupons coming! :lmao: I'll be chewing gum until the next millenium.
