CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 6/29/08-7/5/08

I'm just starting to collect coupons again and went to CVS for my first trip. I bought two of the Coppertone Baby Sunscreen sticks at $4.99 and got $10 in ECB. I did not see anything about the panty liners, but will stop in again this week.
So, I have $10 in ECB + $.50 in ECB....let's see what happens next week! I hope I get lots of coupons this weekend!

Sorry but this weekend's newspapers will not have coupons inserts.

I was goong to call CVS about the Tampon deal but then on my slip it shows how they gave me the whole price on the wipes. So I did not want them to catch that. I look at that I made out better this way

I have not done the towelette deal so I just called about the Tampon ECB and was told in 48 hours $1 ECB will print for me.

I do believe they are aware of the situatuion since there were no questions asked.

My hysterectomy was done about 5 years ago and I sure don't want to spend my bucks on those things.

when I called late in the day, they did not question me on it, but they didn't indicate that it was a huge deal. I very much doubt they will reimburse those of us shorted without a call.

Ok, just got back from CVS, thank you to everyone who posts on here, i have learned so much and am so proud of my loot today!

1st transaction: bought the BIC SOLEIL 4 ct razor refill and the SOLEIL razor for $6.99 each. Bought Robitussin, that was 75% off making 2 of them $1.62 each....had 2 coupons for $4 off SOLEIL razor refill or Razor and had a $3 off Robitussin that i printed before i left after reading thest posts and used $3 in ECB bucks for a toal OOP $4.07 with tax
and got $5 in ECBs

2nd transaction: this is the clincher, they let me get the SPA soft soap for B1G1free and still get the $2 in ECBs...so i got 2 of them for $5.29, had 2 $ .75 off coupons and used a $2 ECB for total OOP $1.99 and got $2 ECBs back

3rd Transaction: bought 2 pantiliners at $. 99 each and did the 2 sure deoderants at $2.69 each. Used 2 $1 coupons on the deoderant and used a $4 ECB for toal OOP $1.56 and rec'd $1.98 in ECBs for the pantiliners and $3 in ECBs for the sure for a total of $4.98 in ECBs

4th Transaction: bought 2 CVS makeup wipes at $2.99 each, used the $1.98 ECB, used 2 coupons for $2 off cvs skincare for total OOP 12 cents!!! and walked away with $2 in ECBs from the facial wipes

5th Transaction: did the 4 boxes of pepsi, bought diet sierra mist, diet pepsi, diet caf free pepsi and diet mt dew, it was 4 for $12, used a $3 ECB, a $5.98 ECB and paid $3.02 OOP, but got $3 in ECBs

Purchased 2 coppertone little key rings with SPF 30 tiny bottles attached to them at $4.99 each...to go into the boys goody bags at disney....and paid with ECBS and got $10 in ECBs...nothing out of pocket!!!!

Good job! I messed up on the Spa softsoap. I didn't realize it was the regular softsoap that was b1g1. So I paid more than I wanted to for body wash that I don't really need. And it is such a pain to return something.

More questions -

Are there links for the beauty handbook and / or reinventing beauty? I thought I read on another site that someone was able to print coupons from reinventing beauty. I've never found it in any of the 3 CVSs I shop at.

And, the Physician's Formula mascara - I can't find that either, any luck in your stores and if so, were you able to use the $1 Manu. Q even though it doesn't specifically say mascara?

I thought this was going to be a crummy week for me but so far not. I've been pretty happy with my 2 stops. Yes, I'm a CVS addict.

DOES ANYONE know what the $3 off any face care coupon can be used for? (printed on my receipt).

I received the $3 off any face care CRT coupon and used it on the Coppertone stick for babies (said something about baby's face on it).

I doubt these two coupons are coded as product-specific, so if you get any kind of product that can be used on the face such as sunscreen, lotion, cleanser, the CVS makeup remove wipes, etc., it will deduct the amount.

A friend of mine threw it away after one use!

I was able to get one tonight, but I had a $1 coupon so couldn't pass it up. It'd be good for rolling a larger close-to-expiring ECB or for getting totals up for those that have a $/$$ coupon.

I've tried everything but standing on my head and I can't get those beauty handbook coupons to print without them being all fuzzy. They look like I'm viewing them through a glass of water .. or after a few too many adult beverages.



ETA: Never mind ... after working at it for an hour ... I finally got it!!! Maybe I needed to put down the adult beverage! J/K (I don't drink, although after all this I may start!)

Using just the ecb I had on hand, I purchased 2 packages of the cvs makeup remover wipes. Had one 3.00 coupon for face skin care. Had one $1 off coupon for skincare. used ecb for remaining.

Then got the mascara (before I read the review above) and used the 5.98 plus 2 ecb and had to pay a few pennies (I can't remember how many -- maybe .03


So for .o3 I got 2 packages of cvs wipes and mascara. still have 7.98 in ecb and 1.50 in ecb.

going out of town to an area without cvs...how will I survive.

ps, for those of you who might have read the earlier thread, the questions about the pantyliners continued. My 9 year old now knows about periods!!! (but not THE other part!!) Thanks cvs!
