CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 6/1/08-6/7/08

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Bounty/Charmin/Duracell deal has a limit of 3, not 1. I don't think I'll go for it since I'm well stocked, but it may help someone else.

I purchased $10 worth of Dove products - a large shampoo and a deoderant. Those 2 totaled slightly over $10. I then had a $3 MC for the shampoo and a .75 MC for the deodorant. I did not get a $3 ECB after the transaction. The manager said the $10 in Dove products could not include man. coupons coming off the $10. This made no sense to me since I know the ECBs work in other scenerios of this type. I returned the items.

Has anyone experienced this?

Is there anything about the Dove deal at the bottom of your receipt? From the monthly book, it looks like deodorant counts, but not shampoo, which is why the ECB wouldn't print. If you had gotten 2 more deodorants or maybe a body wash the ECB would have printed. The cashier was DEFINITELY wrong about the manufacturer coupons for ECB deals. I hope no one ever believes that! :scared1:

Only certain products from Dove count towards the deal!

Quick question - I"m leaving now to do my last-minute shopping.

Claritin - does this count as pharmacy, or can I purchase it as part of my transaction to equal $25?

It counts as part of your transaction because it's over the counter :)

Deal for TODAY

$5 off photo book coupon:
http://cvs.p.delivery.net/m/p/cvs/eml/preview.asp?cid=13950589204&mid=1733300769&pid=662246

They may be buy-one-get-one free next week for those in the test market (Minnesota and ?).

There was a $3 mfg. coupon off Kodak photo books in a 5-4-08 Sunday coupon flyer, so a transaction could look like this:

Photo book $12.99
Photo book FREE
(any item for $2.01)
- $3/15 CVS coupon
- $5 Photo book
- $3.00 mfg
- $3.00 mfg

($1+ for 2 photo books and another item)

Both of our CVS stores were sold out of the Charmin and Bounty so I didn't get to do that deal.

One of our stores had plenty of the bandages and toothbrushes but would only let each customer purchase 2 (even though we know the limit is more).

Got plenty of Pampers though which is what we really needed. :thumbsup2

The Smart Rinse does have a limit of 4 per card. I got 4 today and my receipt said limit reached 4.

Well, I did my first CVS deal purchase. (OK, I did 4, actually! :goodvibes )

I did find out some interesting things:

-Both stores by my house will not accept coupons of any kind past the expiration date.

-Being $.02 below the coupon limit will not be allowed (I was $24.98, and I could not use my $5/25 without spending the extra 2 cents).

-ECB (on Dove, at least), will not print if you're even .01 below $10. (See, I thought I was doing so good when I bought the clinical strength deodorant for $9.99 and used my $2 coupon and I'd get 3 ECB back. NOPE!)

I just got back from another run to CVS. I left with over 70 in retail for 10 and 11 ECBs. This is my list:

Blood glucose monitor (free with coupon)
Chex
Chex (.50 coupon)
Febreeze deal
2 Colgates (1.50 coupon) BOGO
Cascade 3.99

There may by more and I cant remember. But, i used a coupon for 4 off 20 and used 10 ECB, 1 ECB and coupons. It says I saved 117.00 today. I plan on going on Sunday this week so the items will not be sold out. That is frustrating to me. I may be getting the hang of this, maybe.

Ok so I got really lucky today

I went to use my 4/20 email coupon again

I bought the following

2/2.00 Dawn deal
2 Listerine for $3.49
3 bandaid's for 1.99
1 Oral B toothbrush $6.99

Used
2/1.00 Listerine coupons
$9.00 ECB coupons
$4/20 coupon

$6.48 OOP

I go to leave and realize that the Oral B was the wrong one as they were sold out so technically I was paying full price for a $5.99 set
So I returned them and that meant that my first order which was $21 was actually only $16 and I got the $4.00 coupon -

But here's the odd part

My 1st receipt says
Subtotal $5.94
tax 6.75% .54
Total $6.48

BUT my refund receipt is
subtotal $5.99-
tax 6.75% .40-
Total $6.39-

Not sure how the calculated the first one - but it's obviously wrong. Guess I need to watch this closer.

Where did you get the Listerine coupon from?
