CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 3/16/08-3/22/08

i finally found those darn toothbrushes today.....i snatched the last 2 on the shelf....so i think im quite possibly done with the march flyer....short the vitamins but i cant find them and we dont use them...so im not tooo worried about them....i need one more venus embrace....but if it doesnt materialize then that okay too....

I haven't had any problems finding the toothbrushes, but all the ones I've found and bought are size 40 and I feel like those are too big, I use a 35, so those are going into the donation pile or gift pile!

Toothbrush sizes??? I never noticed this before as i was always getting toothbrushes from the dentist - now i will pay more attention as to which i like better.....

For some reason the site is not working for me. I will go to the library and try it there. I can get everything to come up except the home page and it is blank.

Thanks for the link.

What I see is first an "intro" and then when that ends, there is a $5 coupon ad to click on at the bottom of that page. It's one of those that uses the coupon printer after you enter your name, etc. so I hope the library allows that.

Usually if you can't see things like this, it's the virus software not allowing it. If I know the site is safe, I shut off my virus software until I get the coupons printed, then I turn it back on.

Snuck in a CVS trip today (and hope to get in another 1 or 2 before Sat nite).

Did pretty well considering I had 2 out of 3 kids with me.

Glucose Monitor $30
Schick Intuition Refills $8.99
3 Lady Speed Sticks $5.97
1 Bic Soleil Razor $5.99
1 Bic Soleil Refills $5.99
2 Dove Shampoo $5.29 (B1G1)
2 Dove Conditioner $4.99 (B1G1)
1 Olay Bodywash $2.65 (on clearance)
1 Russell Stover Chocolate Bunny $2.99
2 Band Aids - Elmo $6.58
1 Band Aids - Sheer $2.99

5/15 Coupon, $49.75 Manufacturers Coupons, $32.95 ECBs

OOP .33

Got back $20 ECBs. We honestly needed everything I got today except the Glucose Monitor which is going to a good home. :)

I got some great CRTs too for Kotex that I can combine with Manufacturers Qs I have to make those free!

Sorry about the totes. I did leave some on the shelf. Did your coupon work for the GC?

Yep!! It worked for me!! I went looking for the Pro Health toothbrushes and they were out. The manager told me to just choose any two Oral B's and he would ring them up for a penny each. So, I got two for two cents and I can still get two more for free after ECB's!! WooHOo!!

Well aren't you the lucky one?

I am at the library now and if it doesn't work here I will try again at home. At home the page would come up but it was just white. I could click on any of the links at the top just fine but not the home page.

thanks for the help

Quick question - can you get a rain check for the monthly deals?

(And I'd make sure they marked that I should either get ECBs or it should be free!)

I'd love more of the Vitamin C but can't find it ANYWHERE!!! :sad2:

TIA! :goodvibes

Not exactly a CVS sale of the week post, but one that was fun anyway.
We've had some plastic containers sitting around for years filled with pennies. DH and I took 2 64 oz plastic pickle jars of PENNIES into CVS this morning to put thru the Coinstar machine. We both bet how much we thought we'd get. He said 5 bucks and I said 16.00. Boy were we both surprised when we got $38.74 and we picked the CVS giftcard option so there was no charge for the Coinstar usage.
I'm sure I can put that to use next month!

Anyone have the 5/15 saved someplace? Please share w/me as i've been using them all month - i signed up on the wellness site, but i've used up all the coupons i printed and i can't find it anymore. Please?

It's the size of the head (bristle area). 35 is compact and 40 is "full". There is one more size up, I believe. I feel I have better control of cleaning if I use compact. I also only use soft bristles, not medium or hard. My dentist has told me many times that soft bristles are absolutely sufficient and that harder ones can do damage to your teeth and gums.

I use the harder brushes to clean with! :teeth:

I just have to post about my feel good trip this evening.

Our local rescue mission is always looking for donations, but there was a blurb in the paper that they were trying to make baskets for Easter. So I emailed the coordinator (whom I've dealt with before when making donations) and asked about it. She said that they were looking to make goodie bags for adults and baskets for kids and were looking for: Travel packs of wipes, travel size toothpaste, travel shampoo and one other thing that I can't remember, and then candy or whatnot for the baskets.

Well...don't you know I had the motherload for them! I opened all my playskool bags and took out the packs of wipes. I bagged up almost all of the toothpaste I have (with the exception of the 'pricer' ones that I used such as sensodyne, crest pro-health night, aquafresh advanced...kept about 10 or so for myself). Took in a baggie of travel shampoos. I also had about 15 boxes of Hamburger Helper, 10 bags of various chex mixes, some bags of instant rice mixes, 10 jars of peanut butter and a bag full of spaghetti-o's that I got all of free by couponing at the grocery store during triple coupons! She was so excited that I had all of that!

I also told her that I had about 50 10-packs of Wrigley's gum and she was excited for that for the goodie bags. However, when I went to take it all over, I couldn't find the gum to save my life! :headache: I told her that I would really look everywhere for it tonight and bring it by in the morning if I can find it - that's when they are assembling the bags. I feel so bad that I can't find it! Not only that, I really wanted to get rid of it! :lmao: When else will I have a good chance that someone will really need that much gum?

Thanks for sharing! I wish i could find a place to make a "feel good" donation. I'll keep my eye's open.

Has anyone had there 1/4 ecb print out yet? I just did a run for Easter baskets and they did not print.:confused3

So excited tonight! We went to dinner a bit further from home, so of course we had to check out the CVS up there that I don't normally see, in forest hill, MD. Wow, it is so much bigger than the ones closer to home!
Question 1: The cashier there said he only takes one internet coupon per transaction? Has anyone else heard this? I only had one to use, not sure why he even brought it up?:confused3

So now I have one store tell me no printable coupons unless from CVS directly and another tell me only one per transaction.

I did okay otherwise:
4 dove shampoo & conditioner
2 dove deoderant
venus breeze
chapstick (filler to be able to use all my ecb)
Used 5/15 and 8.99 and 3 ecb, plus 10 in mfc.
total was 1.55 and got 11 ecb's back.
My visiting mom was pretty impressed!

just to let everyone know- I know it's a little late with only tomorrow left- but the flintstone vitamins at b1g1 1/2 off goes toward the bayer 5 ECB; I noticed it tonite on my receipt; so I have to go back tomorrow for the baby aspirin that DH takes and that will be that!

That definitely is the nicest one around here. I have been told the same thing about 1 Internet coupon per transaction and they have it posted on a sign by the register. Some of the cashiers will let you do more than 1 transaction at a time as long as there is not a line though and let you use 1 internet coupon per transaction.

I almost made a 2nd CVS run tonite but DS didn't go to bed until super late. I don't like going on Saturdays but I guess I will have to if I want to finish up the Dove deal on DH's card.

Mine hasn't printed either

Hi Everyone, I have nothing to report but thought I'd check in.:rolleyes1

I'm planning on CVSing tomorrw late night with Smiller (she's coming for Easter of course) and she is bringing me a $4 coupon :teacher: for the Venus so I want to do that, and I think I'll do the beauty deal with that... maybe some lumene or some Cetaphil soap I'd really like.:goodvibes

Next week looks slow but I'll buy the Pepsi since DH loves pepsi.:drinking1

Hope you all have a great Easter!:jumping1:

:wave2: HEY THERE!! THAT'S ONE OF MY REGULAR CVS'S. Whatcha doin' in these here parts?
they probably brought up the internet coupon part because appearantly at one time some of the cashiers allowed customers to 'stack' their internet coupons and now they are no longer allowed to do that. I think they bring it up because the CVSer's who use internet coupons will want to break their purchases up accordingly to maximize the use of their coupons. Most of the cashiers in this store are very friendly and helpful, but I did have one who was a real witch. when I left the store, I was looking to see where she had parked her broom. ;) I used 4 printables there tonite and all 3 employees were impressed w/ my final OOPs 2 were under $1. and the other 2 were under $1.50. I think they're used to seeing a lot of coupons, but they're getting to know the 'regular couponers'. It is a nice, clean and well organized store though, don't you think?

By the way, where did you go to eat? If you don't mind saying...

i went todya just to see if the local store had infusium on clearance (which they did) so i grabbed that and a few other items....cashed out and a 10/50 coupon printed for me....i was so excited...never had one of those print off.....and tomorrow i am going to transfer a scrip....so will have a new 30$ gift card afterwards....

so i am set to start off april......now if only i can find the same amt of good deals next month that i have this month....
