CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 3/16/08-3/22/08

Ok - another sign of a CVS obsession:

I lost the keys to the car today. Can't find them anywhere and looked ALL over and backtracked my footsteps all the way to the car. I think I dropped them at the front door of the building when I was pulling out my keys to open the door. :confused3 I'm going to post a notice to see if anyone will turn them in.

Anyways, we are down to our LAST set after losing 3-4 sets over the last 9 years. :rolleyes1

So, tomorrow morning I am going to the dealership to make some duplicates at $35 a pop.

And what do I do but look up locations of CVS's near the dealership. :lmao: Might as well make the trip worthwhile - make lemonade out of lemons and all that. ;)

I have a ? about the 20 free prints coupon in the playskool totes...Lana Jae!!

It says "from your digital camera card or picture cd". So does that mean you can't load them up to cvs's website and pick them up in store and use the coupon? Of course I don't know if anyone has even used these coupons yet.

BTW I also got a CRT for 10 free digital prints today.

It sounded to me like you have to get them printed AT the store. I agree that it would be so much more convenient to load them up at home and just go pick them up.

Like SleepyatDVC said, it has to be in the store. If we order online in MN, the order goes to a lab so I imagine that CVS is wanting to keep the business in the store. I haven't done photos there yet, but I do photo books all the time and it's really quick, takes me about 5 minutes to make one and they put put it together while I shop. I'm sure the prints are even faster.

I used m ine via upload--they print right @ the store in an hour. No problems

Wow, lots of fabulous posts to catch up on:
I can't beleive I passed on the tote.:rolleyes1 And I'm still thinking about it 3 1/2 hours later!

I'm very excited about my candle. I didn't open it up yet. Instead, I finished off my pot-of-gold. popcorn:: Who knew CVSing required stretchy pants for all the chocolate! This is insane!:hyper:
You absolutely make me :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: with your posts. Thank you!

I am successfully rolled all my ECBs into April expire dates so the pressure is off to have to use any of them. I don't see any really fantastic deals in the next week so I may actually not go to CVS next week  April is going to have to be a busy CVS month as on my 3 cards I have about $190 ECBs to roll :thumbsup2
That's great, I have about $30 on each of my 2 cards, but I always seem to have "itchy fingers" to use it. Am thinking they'll be good marked down Easter candy and things next week, and I still want to use the $5/$15.

Remember my cashier "I look and act like I want to help you , but I really don't" well he was not there last night :cool1: My nice and friendly girl was. I went in and had 15 to spend but the mouth wash was gone so I had to rethink. I did well. I saw that I was only .70 away from DOVE so I went to the car and got the Deodorant that was on clearance that I did not know was on clearance until later. Grabbed that and the expired ECB--went back in reutrned the deodorant. I got got the DOVE soap and 2 playschool items. Went and checked out--used the gift card that I just got and the 5 expired ECB--she didn't blink and pushed it through. I am going back today to see if the mouthwash is restocked and to try an use another expired ECB.
Good for you, glad he wasn't there.

Has anyone received their Quarterly Bucks yet? I know I asked the other day, and LJ I took your advice and waited 48 hrs. But still don't see anything online to print. So do I just go buy a pack of gum and get them printed at the Store? I"m so impatient! :rotfl: but I haven't even started Easter Shopping!! I have 5 kids, DH & MIL to buy for.

The Site is showing Spring Spending so I know the Winter Spending is definetely over.
I agree, no Winter ECBs here, and Spring already showing on my receipt. I did receive and used the triple bucks e-mail but considering my winter spending is shown as $8.59 (all those little oops and paying mostly with ECBs), I'm not expecting anything.:wizard:

My 1st thought when I began reading your post was that you were going to say that you left your keys AT CVS!:rotfl: So at least that's not the case, or is it?
I totally think it's a GREAT idea that you looked up if there's a CVS near the dealership -- What a better way to pass the time ('cause it can be boring at the dealership) and so true, make lemonade from lemons!!:thumbsup2

I found the toothpaste and toothbrushes today...Mom FLIPPED when I came home with MORE toothpaste lol

I used m ine via upload--they print right @ the store in an hour. No problems

This is what I've done in the past with my regular photo orders. I hate to have to bring in my memory card and do it from that. My computer has a problem burning to cd.
Did you just pay with the coupon? I was thinking of doing it in 20 photo increments. Sound right?

Toothpaste for size comparison. They are by the Ben Gay stuff and are in a little cardboard holder:

Thanks! Now I know what to look for.

Got an email today with links to two coupons:

Save $5 on an 6x8 photo book
http://cvs.p.delivery.net/m/p/cvs/off/offerprocess.asp?mid=1715749679&cid=13869212904&p=0320_photo

Save $3 on Viactiv Flavor glides
http://cvs.p.delivery.net/m/p/cvs/off/offerprocess.asp?mid=1715749679&cid=13869212904&p=0320_viactiv

Does anyone know how much the Viactiv flavor glides are?

I got a coupon emailed to me today for a free CVS brand hand sanitizer. I wish I could link it, but it has my name on it and says it's only good for the person it was sent to.

GOOD NEWS - BAD NEWS!!!

The good news is that the keys were FOUND!!!! :woohoo: :cheer2: I must have dropped them on the SIDEWALK. :scared1: Someone put it on the windowsill of the apartment on the ground floor. It was near the car so it was a good thing someone didn't drive away in it!!! And I just saved at least $35 for the duplicate. Not to mention the peace of mind of not knowing who might have my car keys.

The bad news is that there is no need to drive all the way to visit the CVS I was planning to near the dealership! :rolleyes1 It's not really bad news but the fact that I feel :sad1: is totally SICK!! :lmao:

I just had to share - my family would think I was nuts!

Have a good night all.

That's a big relief! If it helps, I'm usually disappointed when I travel outside of my CVS circle.

At dinner tonight I was telling my family that I need to decide whether to buy Glade Flameless candles at CVS or Walgreens and explained the difference. My 7 year old said, "mom you can use your $5 coupon at CVS, so it will be a better deal there." I almost fell off my chair. Then she said, "Walgreens is pennies and CVS is dollars." I've never had a prouder parent moment :rotfl:

Of course my husband said, "aren't those the things in packages on the floor in the laundry room?"

You have to at least buy 15.00 before taxes or you cannot use it. I have tried and they said no.

My stores will adjust down an ECB, no matter the amount. but they always tell me first so I can choose to get more stuff or not use it, if I want.

Kimya
that has been my experience also.

Stitchlovestink had mentioned having a pool party this summer. I'm all up for a MD DIS meet before then though - come on up to Bel Air anytime!

Hey I already got 2 bottles of Coppertone for this summer. Spent $15.98 used a $5/15 and $8.99 ECBS spent 2.11 OOP but got 7ECBs back :thumbsup2 Now we just need the warm weather to come and stay so we can open up the pool. :cool1:

Thanks, I was able to get the viva & 2 smart rinse, :goodvibes but it said the glade one was expired, bummer.. :sad1:

For those of you that do multiple transactions, do you leave and come back, get out of line, or do them all at once when its your turn?
I usually do not leave and come back. I try to be organized when I get to the register though. A lot of times I go late at night...as you can see by my post time, I am a night owl  I just let the nice cashier ring up other customers inbetween and she is more the nice to me.
also if you have one of the $/$$ coupons do you use it on each transaction?
YEP!! ;)

i have been doing them at different CVS's and using the coupons multiple times. Don't know if that would work if I did multiple transactions all at once.
Guess you're gonna hafta try it to see if it works for you.

You can do it in 20 increments to get it free.....our you can do whatever amount you want and they will take the cost of 20 off of your bill as a coupon

Well, this was a first for me today......I had 2 items (Embrace razor and Soliel blades). I had one manufacturers coupons for each item. I hand over 3 seperate ECB slips to pay and the cashier says "I'll tell you right now, you aren't going to be able to use 3 of these for only 2 items, the system won't accept it." So I say "I thought these are supposed to be the same as cash?" So she says "Well, I'll try to scan all 3 of them but it's not going to work." Needless to say, the register accepted the 3 ECB slips. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Note to self: Avoid that cashier at all costs next time. :rotfl:

Mine didn’t work last night. I had 17 items (8 of these .50 cent candy which I had by 2 get 2 coupons for) and 7 coupons and it stopped accepting coupons. I still had a $5 Glade coupon and a 4 off 20. (The email switch one) I was using my aunt’s card and have never used this before on it. I also still had $22 ECB and it wouldn’t take them either!! By now the line was huge behind me. My bill ended up being $35, she gave me a CVS gift card with $10(??) and I received $23 in ECB. Then she rang up the mop I needed and I used the ecbs for it, leaving me a $5 one.
I thought I could have one coupon per item. But I think the whole system was messed up. It took forever to ring up the original 8 as well. have no clue why she gave me a $10 gift card. Either she gave me an extra $1, or the $4 embrace coupon didn’t work either. I would have to look at the receipt again.

This was a brand new store. It just opened last weekend. Originally I had planned to use the $10 of 20 coupon I had received in the mail (only for this store), but I gave it to DH after I discovered they had an Embrace!! So he got that, a lipstick, and some glade. So he took the 10 of 20 since the 4 off 20 had my aunt’s name on it. Now I have a like $45 ECB to use, but I have till April.
This store is about 20 minutes away. I wouldn’t go there normally. It’s a very large store and set up weird. The crappy thing is that for some reason the photo machine wouldn’t read our card and I have a free 25 print coupons available, but only at this store. The pictures came up find on the card on our home computer. I am debating where to go back to this one just for that reason.
They did have 2 of the Life Fitness Patches. And I found 2 Embraces there. I have yet to find the lib balm and the baby bags.
