CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

I can see it now...

News at 11. tngramma arrested for slapping witchy CVS cashier's hand when the cashier tried to grab the coupons out of her hand! :rotfl:

We would come bail you out!

do not forget about the excrdrin:rotfl2:

And if we could pay with ECBs too! We could always barter and pay in toothpaste, Sambucol, SoyJoys, M&Ms and shaving cream... :rolleyes1

Only if we got ecbs from the bails bonds man:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How could I forget that one? I have 2 huge 100 ct bottles and the other bottle from the monthly deal sitting in my medicine cabinet. My only CRT printable on my first transaction today was.... $1 off Excedrin!

Let me get this straight. When I am arrested I should tell everbody to be on the lookout for severl ladies armed with bags of toothpaste, deodrant, body wash, excedrin, sambucol and anything else that comes from CVS as this will be my bail money. Right?

If bail bondsman does not accept that payment be sure to leave it for me anyway. When I get out I can have a big yard sale with health and beauty aids. :lmao: :lmao:

I want to go on the record here and say that if anyone on this thread ever gets arrested at CVS for coupon use (even in South Beach!), I promise to fly to their town and testify on their behalf. :rotfl2: I'm still wondering what would've happened had I just walked out of CVS when I was told not to move in SoBe.

Can someone please explain how th script gc works...
We have pretty much all our meds at cvs anyway. DO you get a gift card on new scripts you bring to cvs? what if you are not a new customer:confused3

Yes you can get a $25 GC for a new script or a transfer, but not a refill. They also accept competitor coupons for GCs for scripts from say Rite Aid.

Here is web address to print the coupon:

stitchluvstink - so sorry to hear you guys are sick. Get well soon. You do realize that last month Chicken Noodle Soup would net you some ECBs right?

I'm a BzzAgent but didn't get offered the Afrin deal. I got Listerine Whitestrips, Hilshire Farms and some yogurt recently.

Question for all the coupon clippers. What days should I take the newspaper to get the coupons besides Sunday? We don't read the paper and the ink actually makes me have a sneezing fit so I really don't want to have it delivered daily if I can help it.

In central MA and the ONLY paper worth getting is the Sunday paper. There are almost never coupons in any other paper. Don't forget to check the Parade section of the Sun. edition because I have gotten some good ones out of there recently - usually only 1 or 2 in there. IF you are friendly with anyone that works in a convenience store (or CVS) or anywhere that sells the Sunday paper, you could always ask if you could purchase just the inserts or what they do with the leftovers Monday - might be worth a shot. I get my own paper and then 3 sets of inserts from friends/family.

where do you find these coupons? I am new at this CVS stuff and really want all my ducks i na row before i jump into the deep end. Any information would be wonderful and much appreciated.

I seem to have the most trouble on this board. My pharmacy was great at first and even let me use them on refills! I explained "well, I could take the script to a competitior so you might as well let me use the coupon here". That ended. I still can use the coupons: originals, printed out, and competitiors. Now, my CVS checks to see if I EVER got that particular medication there before. It doesn't matter if it is a new prescription from the doctor and it was 6 months ago that I took it! I called corporate and they said it is up to the store, but sent me a $5 GC. I think my store and how they treat me is very unusual. Now, when I drop off I say "I want to use this coupon and if you can't apply it then don't fill the prescription. I'll take it someplace else". They've been a little more cooperative with that technique.
Note you can only use one coupon at a time. You probably know that. If I can, I try to space getting meds. filled a day or two apart. I have read of some going to other stores in the same day, but I haven't tried it.
As far as being a new customer, that's not going to be a problem. You are their target for the coupon :thumbsup2

As a new customer, you will be able to make a lot off those GC's! :goodvibes

I stoped at a great CVS last night. They actually had the Maybelline and Garnier so here was my purchase...

3 Maybelline eye shadow trios
1 Garnier conditioner

Used
3 - $1 Maybelline
1 - $1 Garnier
1 - $4 off $20

Paid $12.22 OOP (too bad I din't have that triple ECB coupon yet - I only recieved it this morning :sad1: ) I actually had to pay cash as I forgot DH's ECBs at home :scared1: I earned $20.46 in ECBs :woohoo:

I just had a weird situation at CVS. I had several ECB's to use and handed her the highest first, $16.96. It beeped and I figured it was because it was over $15, but she said no, it was saying does not match Extra Care Card, so she looked at my card, it matched (has to, I only have one). The compared it to the other ecb's, all matched, she scanned those in then had to call the lead and she thought it was odd too. She just put it through of course since all matched, but I wonder what is up. I don't like beeps and never get them.

Thanx for sharing........

I never get any e-mailed coupons from CVS and yes i did put my e-mail address in - i check my Junk Mail - wierd!

I just got these too. I hope that they don't replace the $/$$ with these!

That happened to me once. We never could figure out why. Cashier just pushed it through.

Is it possible yours were expired?

I had this happen yesterday too, cashier said it had been going on ALL day! No apparent reason on any of the beeping ECB's that she came across - not expired, right card so I think they were having a computer issue.

I got that triple rewards thing too - had it scanned just a few minutes ago when I went - but what does it mean?? What rewards are tripled (I am new to the CVS thing). . .

So here is what I got on my visit:

2 Colgate Toothpastes ($5)
1 softsoap body wash ($3.99)
2 Palmolive dish soaps ($1.98)
2 Excederine Migraine ($13.98)

(Total Before Coupons: $24.95 plus tax)

Coupons:
$4 off $20
$2 off excederine
$2 off excederine migraine
$1 off colgate
$1 off softsoap
(total Coupons $10 off)

$15 oop (though a good deal) AND $15 ecb. . . so now I have $17 ecb's to roll. . . not bad for a CVS newbie :)

That same thing happened to me last week. As a matter of a fact i got the ecb in the morning and they would not work that night..:confused3

WOW triple bucks...thats cool:thumbsup2 does anyone know how it works????:yay:

It triples the 2% quarterly award that you receive...NOT the ECBs from the weekly or monthly deals.

Kimya

Quick question about the quarterly award. How do we get that? I've never received anything like that, but I haven't been a huge user. But, I'm sure I earned something.
