CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

Did he try them? My son and his friends wouldn't even try one. I am afraid to too!

I don't know if he even tried them. He does drink enery drinks some time but evidently he did not like these. He was quick to tell me no thanks.

Yep, it's no "Red Bull" lol

I only have them because there was that one day where they were BOGO and then a monthly ECB for $4.99 (or maybe $5.29?) each - that was probably my most favorite trip to CVS as it was storming and I forced my husband to take me and for him to get the max amount too and he didn't get why we were buying them until I went the next day and came home with loads of stuff we actually needed by spending the ECBs we earned on them. He still doesn't understand my rolling ECBs (dollar for dollar) into new ECBs on things we would never use, but he doesn't question anything we get paid to take anymore.

Does anyone have an idea on where to donate the energy drinks? The only place I can think of is a bar at 10 am! I thought for sure that college would be a hit, but they're too smart.

Homeless shelter? :confused3

I bring things to one (toiletries), but was worried I might make someone sick with these. The ingredient list leaves much to be desired (and I'm too cheap to just throw them out).

Someone was offering to give them away just for the cost of shipping and there were no takers lol

Try a resturant. If you know anyone who works as a server or manager just give the drinks to them to take in. The staff will happily take them to keep their energy up.

Drop them off at a fire station. My ex-DH is a firefighter and we used to send in all kinds of food and drinks (non-alcoholic of course) to the station. He said men will eat/drink anything! :rotfl:

Thanks, and thanks too Mary. I live 4 houses away from a fire station and I'll try to give them there first (along with some M&Ms) and if not, I'll go to Pizza Hut where my son's friends work.

I know that after 9-11 some fire stations could no longer accept any homemade items but they usually do accept any new unopened commercially produced items. I know for sure they would never turn away M&Ms. :)

THANK YOU! Got a box started already - I feel bad that I never thought about them and I drive by the station everyday. I think I'll have my son (boy scout) and a friend bring it over and says it's from his troop. I bet they could use shampoo and toothpaste too (and deodorant? - I have gobs of men's from 2 weeks ago).
