CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

I think other people are just giving them to friends/family and I do that too - my husband works with a CVSer like us and she'll fill out rebates and put the stamps on the envelope and give them for door prizes so all someone has to do is fill in their name and address.

The limit is 5 for this month.

A trick that sometimes works for me (if you live near a city) (and in a suburb), you can often use the city name on one with another family member's name and the suburb name on another. Depends on how the rebate center sorts to look for duplication.

My family (and this means aunts/uncles/parents/etc.) just send them to each other. Most of the time our products don't overlap, but we check with each other and tell them "I sent a rebate out for _______." They get the check, cash it, and bring me the $$$. Usually I just do myself & maybe my sister, but I "could" do several family members if it was a really good deal.

I can see it now...

News at 11. tngramma arrested for slapping witchy CVS cashier's hand when the cashier tried to grab the coupons out of her hand! :rotfl:

We would come bail you out!

Only if we got ecbs from the bails bonds man:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

do not forget about the excrdrin:rotfl2:

How could I forget that one? I have 2 huge 100 ct bottles and the other bottle from the monthly deal sitting in my medicine cabinet. My only CRT printable on my first transaction today was.... $1 off Excedrin!

I got that one last nite.:lmao: I guess they most think we use alot in my house.
I am now on a mission. DD is moving into in apartment in September for college so I have decided her and her roommates will not use anything unless I can get it at CVS.:lmao:

You just gave me a great idea:thumbsup2 my DD is off to her first year of College also...
She has about 6 good friends that are hanging out at my house all the time. I know I will be invited to graduation parties for all of them. It can get real $$$ but i could make up baskets for school as gifts:banana: Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, advil and more cvs stuff:dance3: I am soooo excited..that will be a good gift, cost way less than a $$ gift and I will have it done before graduation.....:dance3: :dance3: Thanks

I used a $10/50 printable that expired on 2-3-08 last night. It makes it less of a problem (with the cashiers) because they scan. I know from another board (with CVS employees who post) that they beep exactly at midnight 2 weeks after the expiration date.

I read another discussion that said the willingness to accept any expired CVS coupons has to do with how often they send them in, some stores only send them in the week after the 1st, so they are less likely to accept them. It sounded like corporate CVS reimburses the stores for them up to a certain point after the expiration.

HEADS-UP: I didn't get an ECB ($3.99) last night for Garnier conditioner (the same type as in the picture in the ad, except conditioner). Called today and they said it's been happening, so check your receipts.

 Tell me that this is not so!!!! :sad1:
I just went thru a whole stack of papers and threw away several of the $5 off $50 and $4 off $20 b/c I figured there was no reason to save them.

:tiptoe: Need to go and pick thru the trash :headache: Yuck!! before DH puts the can at the curb. Trash gets picked up at 7am tomorrow morning. :rolleyes1

If there were $5's in the trash, you'd dig them out - same thing! :rotfl:

:thanks:
BTW, I saw Ms. Personality there the other day. I swear she kinda gives you this evil eye thing :magnify: just because you ask for an item that's out of stock on the shelf.
I did get 2 $25 GC's for 2 scripts (DH/DD15) of Tamafu at the CVS by Safeway. The pharmacy tech started to give me a hard time about using 2 at the same time. My response was they were for 2 different people. No problem, I'll send DH over shortly to p/u 2nd script. When she figured I was not going to walk away and accept a 'No you cannot get 2 GC's today' she conceded and just rung them up as separate transactions. ;)
I then proceded to the Rock Spring store and got 2 more pkgs of Tamaflu for me and DD12. At that one the pharmacist said only 1 per day. So I said okay just keep mine, I'll be back for it tomorrow. He said never mind I'll figure out a way to make it work. His exact words were "Corporate has been up our butts about the use of these coupons. Why do they complain when people use them, they're the ones who put them out there." :rolleyes2
Anyway, just in case you didn't catch on, our house has been infected by the flu. :scared1: DD15 tested positive for the flu. Our doc put everyone in the house on Tamaflu to lessen the severity if anyone else would come down with it.
Rock spring Pharm suggested using 1st GC (from him) to pay copay on 2nd script. So I still have $3 on that one and then 3 worth $25 ea.
have you made it to the Rock Spring store yet? I'm going to try to go tomorrow. I still need to get my inhaler which means another $25. Boy do I wish Target still accepted competitor's coupons. I should could use a few GCs to them. :rolleyes1
Hope all's well at your house. I'll let you know if they take the expired one at RS store.

Bzz coupons are from being bzz agents. If you go to bzzagent.com and sign up they offer you campaigns to bzz products. You get free stuff and coupons for you self and your friends. It is pretty cool
