CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

I've been CVSing for just about 1 month also, and i just got my first CRT today - $1.00 off excedrin!

can i ask how much you've spent oop to date? i think i've spent about $70.00!

I just started CVSing about a month ago and I finally have the hang of it. I went to my CVS last night, did the small 3/15 transaction first and got a CRT for 10/50. They shift supervisor said, you can probably use this on your next one, I said I already had one, she said to try it. So I used 2 10/50 CRT and a 5/30, the total was down to $13.xx she asked if I had more, so I did. OOP on gift card 3.xx. I was so excited. I was always afraid to superstack. I like to fly under the radar, but I think I will keep it up. Everytime I go I get another 10/50 CRT. Gotta love CVS.

To the person asking about Playtex and Monistat. I know they offered ECBs in the last month, the Monistat was a PG deal, buy $20 get $10 ECBs. Keep looking

On the bottom of my receipt is says -

Diet Coke, Buy 2 get 1 EB
Amount toward this reward = 1.49
Amount Needed to earn reward = .51

Here is the funny thing - I never bought Diet Coke and this is the first time I have seen this on my receipt.

Anyone else get this?

Did you buy any coke product? Maybe Dasani water? A sprite? A Propel fitness water? (isn't that by coke? I can't remember which brand fitness water is by Coke)

Before....as long as you hand them the $4/20 before you hand them the manufacturer's coupons.

The Mennen Speed Stick 2 pack is not ringing up as part of the Colgate deal.

I also didn't realize the Garnier deal is limit 1. Ugh. I bought 2 and had 2 Coupons but only got 1 $3.99 ECB. Can I return one and buy it with my 2nd card if I used a coupon for it?

yes I think that is totally possible. I say this because I wanted to get the $10ECB back on the $20 crest deal. Well, when the final receipt came out, I was 5 Cents short to get the EBC!! anyway, I had used a coupon for each item, but I decided to return one of the $3.99 items and get a $4.99 item. When they did the refund they just gave me the $3.99 plus tx back, the girl didn't even look for the coupon. I caught this right away, so it was the same cashier and she knew I used lots of coupons. This was at the Rock spring store. Oh my goodness, the pharmacist out there is sooooo much nicer than the one by Safeway.
I saw MS. TTUDE (the one who looks like ) when I went in there Sunday real quick looking for the Garnier (you must've made it there before me and taken them all ) I just got a raincheck in case I didn't get back before the sale changes, Fat chance.
If I end up getting a bottle before the sale changes, can I still redeem my raincheck another week? This is my first raincheck from them.

I only bought 3 Maybelline Eyeshadows, 1 Garnier, and a .99 baby shower card.
I even checked a few of my previous receipts and there is nothing, not even an item for 1.49

I think I have spent about $85.00, but that included a prescription which I got a $30 GC. It is fun, although I feel like a nut sometimes

I just started with my ECB's. I went today and spent $30 and got $14 in ECB. I would have gotten more if I had known about the $4 off a $20 purchase coupon!

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new posters, it's great to see these CVS threads growing every week!

I've been on vacation and here's a story and a warning not to "do CVS" in South Beach Miami..

I brought my card and ECBs along, found a CVS and went inside to look around. Was kinda interesting because we don't have liquor/beer at CVS in Minnesota, and this store also had an entire clothing/souvenir area. I found a bottle of Sambucol and a cute zippered embroidered carryon bag for $9.99. Went to the register, gave the cashier my card (btw, standing in line saw no one with a card and there were about 10 people in front of me and an equal number of others at another register). My total came to $23-something with tax. Gave her a $4/20 and then an ECB of $15.96 and the lady FREAKED OUT. I mean seriously freaking out swearing in Spanish. She kept calling for a manager over the intercom in this panicked voice and kept telling me to "stay right there and not move!" Finally, 20 minute later, a manager comes up and she shows him the ECB for the $15.96 and the $4/20 and he's saying to her in Spanish, "yes, and what's the problem?" I can understand Spanish (if the person isn't speaking fast), but I am not able to speak it enough for anyone to understand me. The manager kept saying what I did was fine and she kept insisting that I was stealing! She finally let me pay the balance of $3.10 after arguing with the manager for another 10 minutes (meanwhile, my husband is outside getting bugged for money from homeless people and didn't know what happened to me). So my receipt prints and I get a $10 ECB for the Sambucol and about 6 CRT coupons and the cashier again goes into a tizzy and doesn't want to give them to me, so again she calls the manager and show him that I got $10 in ECBs, but I only paid $3.10, so we had to go through it all again where he says it's okay. She had to have been a shift lead since the $15.96 ECB went through, so that must mean she's worked there awhile.

After my heart started working again, I decided I need to go back and show those people how to CVS!

We got home about an hour ago and I went through my suitcase (checked luggage) and the Sambucol was confiscated by Homeland Security in Miami lol - it's just juice!

I found the dial VP!!!!! I was at the mall and never go into their cvs but just thought I would check it out to see they had any vp left (no other store I had been to this week had them.) I found 4 bought all of them they rang up 1.74 each so I paid 7 something after taxes but got back $8 ECB!!!! I am so glad they paid me to take the dial off their hands

I am sure there is an explanation of this somewhere on this thread that I have missed but to save me from having to go back and read all the posts again, would someone be kind enough to explain again for me?
