CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/24/08-3/01/08

Hi y'all! OK, I have a question about the 4/20. If it's the coupon I'm thinking of, I can never get it to print large enough so that I can read it. I'm afraid to try to use it! Would someone please post the link to the 4/20 (and any "tips" on how to get it to print so that it's legible!) Thanks! :flower3:

I save the coupon (http://www.extracarerewards.com/welcome/welcome_022208.gif) to my computer by right-clicking on the picture and selecting "save picture as."

Then I open it with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and print it from there. When you print from there (press the picture that looks like a printer), it opens "Photo Printing Wizard," and at the end, you choose how the picture will be printed. I choose "Full Page Fax Print" (the first option).

Next week's ad shows if you buy $10 worth of Tresemme, you get $5 ECBs.

Apparently the deal is already working.

The $1.99 hairspray counts towards the $10 total.

There is a $2 printable coupon from CVS (that expires today I think) for $2 off any Tresemme.

That coupon can be used on the $1.99 hairspray.

Where can I see next weeks ad?

This is not true. You can only use this coupon once. Sure, you can print it out as many times as you want, but that is why there is a security code on the coupon. It is only intended to be used once. I would not want to be caught for coupon fraud so I would definitley not use it more than once.

Wyeth allows people to fill out the form numerous times with the same name and address, so if you want to, you can print 5 with 5 different codes. This is how they've been doing coupons for a long time rather than contracting out with Smart Source (where you can print at least 2 from every printing source you have available).

Wyeth usually has coupons for Prep H, Advil, Robitussin, Dimetapp, Centrum, Caltrate, Alavert (and more).

Last week was a crummy week for me. I was going to do my cvs runs friday evening...but, well...I ended up in the ER all night! I was diagnosed with Severe Tension Migraine. I've gotten migraines before, but man, never like this!! Bad weekend for me.....but it was nice to discover that I had some Excedrin Tension Headache in my stash!

And I swear that while I was in there, I saw my favorite CVS shift supervisor being escorted through by a police officer! I am seriously going to ask him when I see him....

Thank goodness there weren't many deals I wanted to do. I was going to do the ziploc deal and the kleenex deal, but can live without them.

Hope you are feeling better! Both my DDs and I get horrible migraines so I know how you feel. They are horrible.

If you need any extra Excedrin, let us know quick before we send it all to LanaJae for her Excedrin Art Project... :flower3:

Kimya hope you are feeling better.
Be sure to let us know what the deal was with the supervisor being escorted by a police officer. I sure hope he did not attack one of our CVS Dis shoppers. That would be cause for a hanging.:crazy2:

When I bring those coupons up I put my cursor on the pic and a magnifying glass with a + in it comes up. I then click on pic which brings it up to right size.

I went to CVS to do some deals today. It didn't go smoothly, but I think it worked out in the end.

4 Nestle Crunch Bars .50 each = 2.00
1 Nerds candy .50
2 bags Nestle crunch eggs 2.50 each = 5.00
1 Venus Embrace razor 9.99
1 Softsoap hand soap 1.40
1 Tressemme hairspray 1.99
2 Ice Breakers sour tins 1.99 each x 2
-.01 Triple ECB reward printout
-$2 Tressemme CVS coupon
-$2 Venus coupon
-.35 softsoap coupon
-.50 for Buy 3 get 1 free Nestle bars coupon
-1 ??? I think maybe for Ice Breakers
-$2 CVS Venus coupon
-$15 ECB
-BOGOF Ice Breakers that didn't get taken off
Subtotal 2.00
Tax .09
Total 2.09

Originally I didn't have the softsoap and Ice Breakers in my order, but when it got near the end I saw I was going to be under my $15 ECB, so I hurried up and threw in the softsoap because I had the coupon at hand. But I was still under ???? So I threw in the Ice Breakers because I had the BOGOF coupon in my hand too. That put me over. At this point I was a little flustered and didn't realize that he didn't take off the Ice Breakers coupon even though he took it.

So I was expecting $6 for the Venus, $5 for the Nestle and $1 for the Softsoap. But only the $6 Venus printed out. So I look at my receipt and I see that only 2 bags of the 3 Nestle that I had picked up were scanned?? I don't know what happended to the other bag? So I still needed $2.50 for the Nestle. So I asked the manager about the Softsoap $1 and I mention he didn't take off the $1.99 for the Ice Breakers coupon. She gives me $2.99 in cash! So I used that to buy the other $2.50 in Nestle with another Nestle Crunch eggs bag. Then the $5 ECB printed out. And I think I can still do the Softsoap deal since it doesn't show up. I will have to do the Irish Spring bars though since I don't have a softsoap coupon left, but I have an Irish spring left.

My second order at Store #2:
1 Revlon eyeliner $7.49
1 Tressemme hair spray $1.99
-$2 Revlon face coupon
-$2 Tressemme hairpray CVS coupon
-$5 ECB
Subtotal .48
Tax .19
Total .67

This contributes $7.49 towards the Revlon deal. Not the best scenario I could have come up with - although I did have the $2 coupon - but my DD was begging for a new eyeliner. I have $1 Beauty tool coupons for the rest.

And I also have $3.98 towards the Tressemme. I might pick up one more hairspray when I pick up my other DD from her boyfriends. There is a CVS right buy his house.

Does anyone know if the march monthly deals are posted anywhere? I would love to plan better for the month of march than I did in Feb.

So the Tressemee deal is working now?

I didn't purchase enough to have the Tressemme ECB print out, but on the bottom of my receipt it is showing!

Here is what I found today

Essence of Beauty Travel Bag.

It is a very nice black bag, it came with 3 small bottles of products and a travel pillow.
It was marked 14.99 on the tag and on the shelf.
But since it was covered with a layer of dust, I thought I would get it price checked. They look at me like I am crazy :crazy2: when I do this - because it is marked. They also looked at me like this when I price checked the Cottonelle a few weeks ago. But then they started buying the Cottonelle also.

I paid $1.49!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I've heard that the EOB gift sets were on clearance at some stores. Ours is still at 50%. Maybe tomorrow ...
