I would say NO - it is linked to her cvs card!
Thanks. I didn't use it because I just didn't feel right about it and then later I was wondering if I was just crazy.

That coupon is linked to her card. It would beep and not work with your card.
I have 1 store near me that has a scanner just inside the front door and one back in cosmetics. 80% of the time the front one doesn't work, but the back one does. All other stores near me have just 1.
I know Dr Pepper and Caf free diet coke work. I only bought 12packs
Does anyone know if there are exclusions to the Coke deal? Are all diet cokes included, (2 liter ect) and how about the other Coke brands?
It was a hidden deal in the bonus pack sale that ran 1-4-09 to 2-14-09. Its still working as of tonight.
It's the 7 oz. boxes of crackers that are kind of like Cheez-its, I've only bought the Cheese and the Sour Cream and Onion, so I know both those work. If they ring up at $1.97 (regular price $1.99), you get $1 ECB for each box. The limit is at least 6, it may be 10, but I don't know for sure.
There are 25% bonus boxes (9 oz.) and I don't know if those work, I haven't been brave enough to try them.
The multi grain and whole wheat crackers work as well. It's the 7 oz. boxes of crackers that are kind of like Cheez-its, I've only bought the Cheese and the Sour Cream and Onion, so I know both those work. These are the bonus items that are still on my receipt:Still have these on my receipt:
6-pack box of Soy Joy ($6/$6 ECB)
6-pack of Gold Emblem Sparkling Water ($3.97/$2 ECB)
Glade Sense Spray and Lasting Impressions ($6.99/$2 ECB) ($4 mfg.)
Cottonelle ($12.97/$4 ECB) (reported to be $8.97 in some areas so scan them if you see them)
Cheez-it double pack shrink-wrapped ($6/$3 ECB)
Cotton rounds or squares (big bonus pack) ($3.49/$1 ECB)
There are more items, maybe others can add to the list.
Here in PA you are only taxed on the "after ECB and coupon" amount. I hardly EVER pay sales tax at CVS. Every state is different though.
In January I got $1,194.96 worth of stuff from CVS and I paid 6.49 OOP and .24 in sales tax. Yes I am a nerd and keep a spreadsheet![]()
I am amazed that Dr. Pepper worked for the deal because I think it's a Pepsi product but glad it worked for you!![]()

Most of our stores here don't have the kind that give coupons but just scan for price. Do both of them give coupons or just one of them?

I bought Coke Zero and Diet Coke regular and caffeine free and they all worked fine for the 20/10 deal yesterday. I bought twelve packs so I'm not sure if the 2 liter sizes will work or not.
I bought 4 boxes of cheese and sour cream/onion crackers today (Wed.) and they're still giving ECB's. There weren't any bonus boxes left, but I bought some of those last month and they also gave ECB's ($1 on each box) I think the limit is ten boxes and I think it's the same deal as last month and it didn't restart this month with a new deal. Hope that makes sense.
LanaJae, I found four Pull Ups on clearance in W. St. Paul today for 90% off which made them like $1.89 for each pack. I was thrilled!!!!I said to the clerk, "I'm getting these for my grandson and I am just so thrilled at the clearance price." She looked at me kind of weird and said, "Won't he mind having princesses on them?" I took a closer look and yep, they were the pink ones with princesses on them.....argh.......but for $1.89 for the large pack, I sure hope he can wear princesses!!!! He's only two so I don't think he'll care but I have a feeling my son might protest. Sigh!!!! Oh well, if he says no princesses, I'll donate them to a women's shelter for that price. Someone there will appreciate princesses!

Dr. Pepper is considered a Coke item in some areas and a Pepsi item in others. It depends on who they have a contract with to bottle their product.

Yes, they both scan and give out coupons. All my stores have 1 of these, and only my closest store has 2.Most of our stores here don't have the kind that give coupons but just scan for price. Do both of them give coupons or just one of them?

You are so welcome! I really like those crackers too. Since I started CVS'ng, I have tried so many new products that I wouldn't normally have bought. But, because they were free or moneymakers, I had to buy them.Mahtomedi has the bonus boxes of crackers if you haven't met your limit, plus lots of wheat left (thanks Kycha!). I ate some cheese ones last night, they are really good.

It's strange that the 2 you bought didn't show up today so I would only buy 3 more and see what it shows.
I just found this article on iheartcvs.com. It says that redplum has discontinued distribution in a number of newspapers. And that they have decided to mail coupons instead. This will not make me a happy camper. I buy at least 5 newspapers a week and I don't see anyway for me to get 5 redplum inserts through the mail. As of 2/8, I was still receiving the redplum inserts in my local paper. And I had signed up on redplum.com a long time ago to start receiving coupons through the mail. But, they never came.
http://iheartcvs.com/2009/02/no-red-plum-coupon-insert-in-your-paper.html
"As of February 1st 2009, RedPlum coupon inserts have been discontinued in many newspapers throughout major US cities. Instead of distributing these coupon inserts in the Sunday paper, Valassis has begun mailing the RedPlum coupon inserts to home addresses.
Valassis has pulled their RedPlum coupon inserts from newspapers in major cities in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Utah, Virginia, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Maryland, and Texas.
check here to see if your newspaper is still on the distribution list
For the average person, this may not seem like a big deal, but for couponers who buy multiple Sunday newspapers to get more than just one set of coupons, this is a major setback.
if you are affected by this change, you may wish to Contact Valassis and ask them to reconsider:
Web: Valassis Consumer Support Page
Phone: 1-800-437-0479 (8:30am - 5:00pm EST)
bringbackthecoupons.com also has a list of companies that regularly offer coupons in the RedPlum insert. Under each company's name, you will find contact information so that you can let them know how Valassis's decision to remove the RedPlum insert from your local newspaper will affect you and what you buy."
For now......Someone posted that when the contracts with each paper runs out they will not be re-newing them.It looks like the Chicago Tribune will still get the coupons. Yay!
