CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 2/15-2/21

-4 Gold Emblem Cheese Crackers for $7.88 (this is a good one to use the $2/10 CVS CRT because ECBs are still printing), used $2/10 CRT (meant to get 5 boxes to get close to $10, oops), earned $4 ($1.88)

Is this a monthly deal? Or weekly? I can't find it in the ads. Something to use my $2/10 on!

WOW:worship: thanks so much:thumbsup2

You're so welcome!

Hi! I'm new to CVS'ing this week. I think I'm getting the hang of it...did the neutrogena deal, the colgate deal twice, the suave deal, the herbal essence deal, and the coke. :cool1: This was all at the same store, so they think I'm a little crazy, but oh well!

I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on this Gilette gamer razor deal. My CVS has a lot of them in stock, and I have a coupon too. However, there was no little yellow sign on the display stating any ECB's...so I was afraid to get one since it was over $11. Does it give ECB's?

TIA!

Just make double sure it says Gamer. :thumbsup2 My store has ads you can pick up on your way in the door, simply grab one and make sure it's in your store's ad.

Does anyone know if there are exclusions to the Coke deal? Are all diet cokes included, (2 liter ect) and how about the other Coke brands?

It was a hidden deal in the bonus pack sale that ran 1-4-09 to 2-14-09. Its still working as of tonight.

It's the 7 oz. boxes of crackers that are kind of like Cheez-its, I've only bought the Cheese and the Sour Cream and Onion, so I know both those work. If they ring up at $1.97 (regular price $1.99), you get $1 ECB for each box. The limit is at least 6, it may be 10, but I don't know for sure.

There are 25% bonus boxes (9 oz.) and I don't know if those work, I haven't been brave enough to try them.

I heard that the deal also includes Coke, Coke Zero, Coke Zero Cherry, Caffeine Free Diet coke, Sprite, Sprite Zero, and Fanta. I think I heard regular Cherry Coke too.

Some sites have a confirmed list that includes Coke Zero and all the other diets that Coke makes.

These all worked for me (12-packs):

Coke (regular)
Cherry Coke
Sprite
Fanta Orange

The 2 liters are working in some states and not others, you'd have to buy one at 99 cents (sale price) to see if it shows on your receipt to know for sure.

I don't know about states that only sell 8-packs, they probably have a different sale price too.

Hmm. Thanks! I need to check this out! :thumbsup2

ETA: Okay, I checked it out! Is there anything else LanaJae you can confirm from the bonus pack sale that is still generating ECBs?

& Mouthwash....... We're overrun... DH says I need to stop bring home "stuff we don't need".... But they PAY me to take it!
My DH doesn't say much...but I know he's thinking this too! Mainly because we don't have alot of extra room for stuff like this. Lately my DS and his fiance have come by and enjoyed "shopping" in my cupboard & boxes. I am very happy to say that last weekend I attended a scrapbooking day and they were gathering items for a shelter as well as soldiers. I brought 3 boxes of soyjoys, toothpaste, mouthwash, deoderant, gum, mento's, granola bars, razers and much more. It felt really great to be able to donate all that stuff!

Everyone gets different ones, you will only get so many per day (see 4fosterkids reply below)

This is what I do, keep scanning until it says no coupons today. Haven't seen a store with 2 scanners, but that's a cool trick!

Also, if the machine is out of paper, if you scan your card, sometimes the CRTs will print at the register.
I have 1 store near me that has a scanner just inside the front door and one back in cosmetics. 80% of the time the front one doesn't work, but the back one does. All other stores near me have just 1.

Went out in a snowstorm and got this stuff:

For some reason, the Coke/Tylenol amount to get $10 ECB was decreased to $19.49 (from $20).
Funny you say this....when I did the coke deal today, I didn't get my ECB and when I read my receipt it said "amount towards this reward 19.34, amount needed to earn .15 stinkin cents" I couldn't believe it, especially since that doesn't even add up to $20. I didn't realize it til I got home and ran out and I grabbed 1 more Dr. Pepper and it printed the ecb and now says "offer limit reached" balance 19.49 huh???

I know Dr Pepper and Caf free diet coke work. I only bought 12packs

Does anyone know if the bonus packs are still printing ECB? I found a store that has some Kotex left and I got a Kotex CRT.

Still have these on my receipt:

6-pack box of Soy Joy ($6/$6 ECB)
6-pack of Gold Emblem Sparkling Water ($3.97/$2 ECB)
Glade Sense Spray and Lasting Impressions ($6.99/$2 ECB) ($4 mfg.)
Cottonelle ($12.97/$4 ECB) (reported to be $8.97 in some areas so scan them if you see them)
Cheez-it double pack shrink-wrapped ($6/$3 ECB)
Cotton rounds or squares (big bonus pack) ($3.49/$1 ECB)

There are more items, maybe others can add to the list.

Thank you so much!

So if you purchase something with ECBs and you return it, do they print you out new ECBs? Or how does that work?

The easiest way is to have the cashier do a return without a receipt. That way you get the amount back on something called a "money card," which is like a CVS gift card. If you use your receipt, the most you will get back is the amount you actually spent. Some stores will give you the amount you spent back and the rest on a money card, but finding someone who knows how to do that is hard and it takes time and then people in line get PO'd.

Not very many of us do returns unless we bought the wrong item, and it's best to take the time at the store and check your receipt closely before leaving and have them fix anything right there. Returning things causes suspicion at stores because there are people that buy things that earn ECBs and then return them for the whole value on a money card and double up on store credit (and then buy things that never give ECBs). The stores I shop at know me too well, so the cashiers are always telling me about all these bad people who buy up all the deals, try to use wrong coupons, use several cards, return things, etc.

Yikes. That makes sense though. I've been pretty careful on price scanning things and just waiting if I'm not sure.

I'm learning so much here!

Today at CVS I got a shopping cart and someone else had left their CRT's in the cart--one of them being a $5 off $30 purchase. It has the woman's name on the coupon. Am I permitted to use this? I was going to until I realized that her name was on it and then I didn't feel quite right about it.

Any thoughts?

I would say NO - it is linked to her cvs card!

That coupon is linked to her card. It would beep and not work with your card.

I found a man's on the floor yesterday. A $5/30. :headache:

I noticed the amount that gets taken off your total with ecb's is not taxed but the amount taken off the total with a manu. coupon is taxed if it is a taxed item in MD. Hope this makes sense.

I think you are right. Yesterday I bought 1 Colgate ($2.99). Paid with a $2 ECB and a $1 ECB (which was adjusted down to .99). My total was 0, so I wasn't charged any tax.

Here in PA you are only taxed on the "after ECB and coupon" amount. I hardly EVER pay sales tax at CVS. Every state is different though.

In January I got $1,194.96 worth of stuff from CVS and I paid 6.49 OOP and .24 in sales tax. Yes I am a nerd and keep a spreadsheet :rolleyes1
