CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 11/30-12/6

While I was waiting FOREVER for an RX for my son that ultimately was denied by the insurance company (whole other post!!), I stumbled across a battery deal. Not sure if it's been posted, but Duracell are on sale for $5.99 and you get $2 ECB's back. There was a pad of CVS coupons, save $5 on two packs so I bought 4 packs and saved $18 (with the ECB's). Limit 5.

Wow! Has it been a slow week or what? There is a hidden deal out there. I found this on afullcup.com. The promax protein bars are on an unadvertised sale this week...3/$5. They are also a monthly ecb deal buy 3 get $5 ecb(limit 5). So, free protein bars or a moneymaker if you have a x/xx or coupon. I read there is a coupon out there for these, but I'm not sure what week they are from. They were not marked in my store. But, when I scanned them they came up with the sale price. So, I got 10 and received $10 ecbs. I don't know if the sale price is just for this week or for the month.

Those are the ones she likes.
But one her friends she goes to college with loves Soy Joy bars:confused3
It must be a college thing:rotfl2:

I just bought twelve of those bars - we'll see how they taste later! :lmao:

I can manage a Soy Joy alongside a nice cup of hot tea. I have no idea how people eat those on their own. :confused3

It was fun to just go do 5 transactions and spend $0.20. :goodvibes

I give the Soy Joys to my 2 year old. He thinks they are a treat:rotfl: I love that I can throw them in my purse and have a quick snack for him out and about that he likes and the cost me nothing :goodvibes

I will have to grab some of the promax bars if I can find them.

Just got back from CVS. My plan was to do 5 seperate transactions. First one worked fine. Second time bucks did not print. Manager kept saying they would print later, I had reached my limit, or it would not give bucks because I used bucks to pay for them.

My response was NO NO and NO. She did print them manually for me. I will go back tomorrow when I have more time. Grandkids were with me and not a good time.

On a postive note grandkids loved the bars. Like they need more energy.:scared1:

thanx for the info on the bars - hidden deal - will definitly check it out tomorrow, as i have sooooooo many ecb's to roll!

I did the eyecare solution, used the $2 coupon, then used a $5.98 ECB and a $1 ECB and my out of pocket was $0.17. I got an $8.99 ECB too. Later I picked up 4 prescriptions, but didn't get any ECB. I was at the drive through and couldn't ask why.....

Why would I not get them for those?

Don't the prescription ecb's print quarterly? I don't fill many prescriptions so don't really know how that works.

Awe, that's sweet!

The F&F discount used to only work on stuff that's not on sale or doesn't give ECBs (if they haven't changed it - the register adjusts the prices). I think you can still use mfg. coupons on anything though, so...

-baby formula (if you can find a baby :rotfl2: )
-OTC meds that are never on sale (can't think of any though)
-CVS Brand products, prices are usually decent to begin with and an extra 30% off is great. I love those bleach toilet bricks that go in the tank, they are $2.19 regular price and Clorox is around $4. If you have any of the $2 Essence of Beauty coupons from the Fall Beauty Book, you could probably make money on some of the sponges, buffs, etc.
-cosmetics that you like but don't give ECBs often would probably be cheaper than anywhere else with 30% off
-perfume

That's all I can think of right now - have fun!
