CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 11/30-12/6

I went this morning but just 1 transaction!
3 bottles of Pantene (used the last of my old c/os) plus got $3 in ecbs
2 bottles of Dawn used 2 x20c c/os and they were BOGO
1 Abreva not on sale but a $5 ecb and DSIL uses it regularly and was almost out !!
So I have $8 in ecbs for next week, which hopefully will be better!!

Glad it wasn't just me .I will go for the Pantene anf the Abreva . Both are things we use !! There is no inserts this week either . I better go check the RA and Walgreens ads !!
Do you mean coupon inserts? There is a P&G coupon insert in today's paper. But there are no Smartsource or Redplum inserts.

Just received a $5/$25 email coupon for Walgreens!
Somehow didn't get their ad in todays paper - any good deals?
Any good monthly deals / rebates?

I did a couple good deals at Walgreens tonight.

2 All laundry detergent (12 loads)- Wags coupon made them $1.79, plus one $1 and one $.40 coupon.
4 Wrigleys gum - Wags coupon made them $.59, plus B1G1 coupons
2 Reach dental floss - on sale for $3 each, plus 2 $1 coupons ... got $6 register rewards on this, so it was a money maker
2 Carmex - Wags coupon made them $.99 each, plus coupon $1 off 2

I also had $4.50 in RR from last week, so my OOP was $4 something, but got $6 back in RR.

CVS does kinda stink this week, but next week has a couple of good possiblities.

The REDHOT5 code died tonight at midnight eastern time, but there is another $5 code: MEDICARE

I ended up buying three of the 24/7 mineral makeup primers, they came to $50.97 and I got $30 off because I ordered before the code died. I used $20 ECBs (can only use the new generic ECBs and quarterly ECBs online) and ended up paying under $1 plus tax. I hope its a good primer, I've been using Bare Essentuals primer and ran out last week - it's around $20, so hopefully I got 3 for the price of 1.

An added bonus is that if you place an online order now, you get 6% back on your OOP spending (in store too) instead of 2%.

Glad you were able to find something!

I also read later about there being a $20 rebate out there for Oil of Olay products. http://www.olay.com/Club_Olay/nov2008/email/OLAY820_RebateFinal.pdf

Buy $50 of oil of olay products, get the discounts at CVS plus the rebate makes it close to FREE! :cool1:

I'm gonna go try. Last time I got frustrated with signing in and gave up. Maybe thats cause I was supposed to wait till I found the Oil of Olay deal!! :rotfl:

Good! I'm glad you were able to get the P&G coupons. There are a couple in there that may be good down the line(Covergirl BOGO, Gilette Fusion $4 off).

Rosalie Walgreens has Sloiel razors on sale this week. Not sure what the deal is but DSisIL used a $3 Q plus the $5 Q I sent you. She ended up getting the Razor and 2 packs of refills (refills are BOGO) for about $3 OOP.

Yeah, I just used my coupons for that deal and got the bonus one with the shave gel in it! Also got earbuds and a 6 outlet surge protector this week for Free! This is a great month to Rite Aid because you can also earn the gift of savings certificate. Right now I am up to $10 but should hopefully get to the $20 by the deadline!

I read on another site to keep a watch on the parking lots and shopping carts for discarded receipts. These can be recorded for the gift of savings for you.

On Friday we went into DC for the day. On the way down we stopped at a Rite Aid. On the very top of the garbage can was a receipt for $30 worth of stuff. When I picked it up DBIL was horrified. :scared1: I have no pride when it come to getting free stuff.

How do you redeem Rite Aid rebates? Can you do it online similar to Walgreens?

Yes. You just have to sign up for Single check rebates. Then you just log into your account and enter information from your receipt (store #, register #, transaction #). It takes about 10 seconds to enter, it is so easy. Their rebate periods run for about a month each. You can only request 1 check per rebate period, so you do all the deals for the month and then you request your check. The check is an actual check that you can cash and use wherever, you don't have to just use it at Rite Aid.

I have a Discover card that I never use for anything. I put all of my Rite Aid transactions on there. Then when my bill comes I just pay it off with my rebate check. Pretty much my only OOP during the month is sales tax, but I usually have enough coupons to do money maker deals that covers the sales tax and I usually break even or make a few dollars.

I am loving Rite Aid. It is so much easier than CVS. No ECBs to keep up with. Just hang to to your receipt til you get home, enter it and all is done.

If you have the Inner Stregenth magazine from RA there is a coupon for free glucose monitor. They cost $75 which makes it easy to get the $20 Gift of Savings rebate.

I've really only done CVS'ing, with a little bit of Walgreens and Rite Aid here and there, but with more and more good deals at these, I figure I will start shopping around more. Are there threads or other locations for Wags and Rite Aid deals, like this.
If it can't be posted here, can you PM me the info?

Happy Savings!

There hasn't been an official Wags or RA thread on the Dis as of yet. Everyone just posts their good deals for all three in this thread. Of course, you should also check out Hotcouponworld.com and afullcup.com. They each have an entire forum dedicated to each of the 3 drug stores(plus many more stores).

I had tried to start a weekly Rite Aid thread but it didn't get a lot of traffic. I even posted the one week early like IAHD does (because I was going to be on vacation the next week) and got attacked for posting it early :confused3 I find the people in this thread much nicer so I just post my Rite Aid finds here instead. If they help someone out, great :thumbsup2

I go to afullcup as well, and the Rite Aid board there is helpful, but not nearly as busy as the CVS board. I don't have a Wags nearby so I don't know much about them, but I certainly don't mind reading about those deals here!

I had a bit of aggravation at my cvs this morning. The cashier kept insisting that I couldn't use a $3/$15 coupon with my ecb's. She would read the fine print on the $3/$15 coupon and point out that it says "Cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupons". But, she didn't have a problem combining it with the $5/2 Duracell CVS coupon I used or the $1 off 2 Propel CVS coupon I used. She was only concerned with combining it with my ECB's.:confused3 I told her I had combined that coupon with my ECB's dozens of times and had never had a problem. She insisted that each of those cashiers(and managers and shift supervisors) that had waited on me were all wrong. I wasn't satisfied with that. So, I asked to speak to a manager. Fortunately, she was only standing a few feet away. The cashier called her over and the manager scanned the coupon and walked away. The cashier said that the manager can do that, but that she can't. And then she insisted that she has never taken a x/xx coupon and ecb in the same transaction. Which is BS. She has waited on me before and has definitely done so and never questioned it before.
I would really have liked a clear explanation of why an ECB is considered a coupon, but a CVS coupon is not considered a coupon in this case. But, both the cashier and manager are really quite clueless. I guess I'll be contacting corporate for an explanation. In the meantime, I'll just avoid this cashier.

Anyway, there was one bright spot today. I received a $5 off any $15 purchase CRT. It is only good for 3 days though.
