You gotta love CVS and those deals. I just started going and I am kicking myself for not going sooner. In 3 weeks, I have gotten some really great deals and tried products that normally is too expensive. :cool1:
I love those ECBs.

bettyann29 ~ To save you a trip to CVS just to print out your ECB, do you know that you can go to their website, log on to your extracare account and print your ECB out? I found this a few weeks ago and it is VERY handy. Great job on your shopping trip, by the way!

Have you ever tried to print you ECB off on your printer? This is what DH does. He says it is so much easier than going in the store. Just a suggestion.

Hi,

Sorry, kind of new to this...I have a quick question; I used my extra bucks $20.00 coupon on Tuesday. It was printed at the CVS store on my last receipt.

When I logged on to my account today I was still able to print it out. Does this work or will it show up at the register as already used?

I must say I'm impressed with this program. The total for the Tuesday visit was $68.80, for which I actually paid $8.80. Not bad.

Thanks!

CathyO... If you have used it then I dont think you would be able to use the printed one.. I would think the system is going to know but maybe someone can shed more light on this...

Thanks everyone about the idea of printing out ECB.. only problem is that Im out of ink.. :crazy2: I dont buy it very often because my kids end up using it and wasting it.. so I dont buy it but a few times a year..

Would someone explain ECB's? I am missing something big here....I can just tell. Does CVS put their sale flyer online? Thanks for any help :) !

I have a CVS down the block and never go - i see i'm making a huge mistake!

So tell me, what is the best way to begin earing these points? should i wait till i have a good amount of coupons for the items on sale?

Not necessarily.. I just started doing this a few weeks ago and I did have to put a little up front to start the ECBs.. Basically what I do is go thru the weekly ad.. it is on their website if you want to look at it.. Some items are just on sale with no ECBs and some things are on sale and with ECBs or not on sale with ECBs.. You just have to look.. I started mine a few weeks ago when they had the buy $40 worth of toilet paper, wipies, etc and get $20 ECB..and then buy 2 theraflues get $10 ECB.. I searched and found a coupon that I printed for $10 off $50.. then I had various coupons and then I also can send in receipt for medicines to my flexible spending acct to get that money back from them.. I did have to pay a small amt out of my pocket..

What I do is get things that I either would normally get anyway or things that Id like to get but dont normally want to spend that much money on.. I use it to my advantage and combine this with the coupons you find in the Sunday paper.. as example.. CVS had a package of 8 packs of gum for $1- listed as 5 for $5 in the paper.. I had 2 different coupons for $1 off.. so they were free! Once you start doing this they will email you coupons that you can use in additon to the ECBs.. I have gotten 3 or 4 different emails in the last 2 weeks for $$ off coupons..

Also if you have the paper from a few weeks ago.. you can get $30 giftcard for transferring or getting a new rx.. also there was something in the paper about filling or refilling 5 rxs before a certain date and you get $10 ECB.. this is great if you are going to do it anyways.. just make sure you give them your card when you fill your Rx..
