Cvs deals 4/5-4/11

Thanks everyone for all the kind words on the article. The response has been very positive.

I did get out to CVS yesterday (early) and got the grass, baskets, shave gel, toothpaste, coke (not the best deal but we do drink it), excedrin and a few other things. I was pretty happy with my trip.

I also hit up Rite Aid for a few deals:

Bounty is .99 this week (single roll). Use the $1 manuf. coupon from the P&G insert for Free towels. Also, I used all the Bounty coupons from the P&G bonus coupon book so I got a ton of free towels.

Blink drops are 7.99 with a 7.99 SCR. There are $2 coupons from the inserts so moneymaker!

Old Spice Pro strength has a $4 SCR. The Fresh scent is on 75% clearance (YMMV) for $2.24 plus there was a $1 coupon in the P&G insert. So big moneymaker there!

FYI -- The Excedrin coupons we dowloaded for Migraine and Express Gels work on other varieties without beeping. I like to keep Back and Body on hand b/c it doesn't have caffeine.

No Skintimate at my store.

yeah, no skintimate or easter grass at my store either. i guess i can do without another shave gel. btw, target has easter grass on sale for 24 cents!
i got the free excedrin though, 2 3-packs of schick quattro for $4(had the BOGO cpn and the $4 off coupon-yay!) and milk for 69 cents (had 1.99 ecbs that i had to use up). did the lindt deal. i also needed clairol root touch up, no coupon, but bought it anyway since it was on sale. total oop $13-not bad for all that stuff, and i'm a newbie!
why in the world is it so hard to get clairol root touch up in black? i went to 3 different stores before i could find it. no coupons on the clairol website. does anyone know of any coupons out there?
i got the 15 off 75 too. kinda annoying because i know i won't be able to use it.

I just got back and got some weird coupons as well.

On my card, I got $15/$75 + $10/$20 any cosmetics purchase (I'm going to see what I can combine that with. It expires 4-20 so I have some time) $1 off any E of B. Second scan of the card gave me $1 off Divine Cookies and $1 off 2 CVS Tissues. Third scan( I never get more than 2 scans but today it gave me 3) $2 off Huggies swimmers and $1 off Fruitopia. T

On DH's card I got $20/$100 (maybe because his card is used more?) $1 off Cottonelle wipes and $1 off Glade Sense and Spray (I have a rain-check from last week) Second scan was the same as mine. There were no coupons with the third scan.

While there, I got two of the Vera Bradley knock-off duffels ($1.99/each) and two matching shoulder bags ($1.79/each) I'm going to use these as Easter baskets for my two oldest DD's (22yo and 19yo). For those of you looking, I found them in the cosmetic isle near the E of B bags. They weren't marked clearance but scanned 90% off.

I got some cute striped photo boxes for 59 Cents (90% off) that will match my oldest DD's room. She's a big scrapbooker so she's always looking for boxes for ribbon, markers, Cricut cartridges... Some sticky mouse traps 15 cents each (I hate mice and after cleaning out the garage this weekend, I know that we have one or two in there. Our house backs up to a field so I guess that's expected. DH will have to get rid of them because I "don't do mice" My free roll of paper towels (expired email coupon by our store takes expired CVS coupons), 2 Cokes (I bought a B1G1F coupon with my Coke rewards points),2 bottles of Excedrin ($1 off CVS coupon + 2 coupons for $2 each that I printed last week. Thanks to whoever posted the link for this one!) some CVS pretzels ($1/2 coupon) and 2 bags of Gold Emblem candy ($1/2 coupon) I wasn't planning on the last two items but I needed to get to $20 so that I could use my email coupon for $4/$20.

I used 2 ECB for $5.00 each and $3.09 out of pocket.

I got $1.58 in ECB for the Easter grass (79 cents each) and I'll go back for one more Coke with a Coke Rewards coupon I just printed so that I can get that ECB as well.

All in all, it was a great trip!

For the $10/$20 deal you could use it on Covergirl. There were some CG coupons in the paper yesterday and you get $10 ECBs WYB $20.

I got 15/75. And $1 off absolutely divine cookies, one for cvs facial tissue, one for $1 off smart rinse, a aveeno sunscreen one, a kleenex one, and a couple others.


I have two of the $40 converter coupons I may try to work into this, and a bunch of the excedrin coupons. I also have some huggies I can use on wipes... I got one of the 15/75 on my card & my sister's. I also thought about using it towards the Itunes gift cards... I could do 3 $25 I tunes, for $60 then get the $10 (or is it $5?) ECB.... Or maybe work it into the converter boxes...

LanaJae, The totes were all marked $4.99 when I checked at Arcade/Maryland store this afternoon. They must've marked down just a few last night. Maybe more later in the week or next weekend.

I scanned both mine and my DH's cards and the best I got was a $10/50... I did find a Sunday paper so I'm home really quick to figure it all out, I have $8.50 ECB to work with so at most I'll be spending about $30 OOP, probably much less if I can find enough coupons.

Do I need to give the coupons/ECB's in any particular order to have it all apply? I only need to have the $50 before the coupons and ECB's right?

Yes $50 before coupons AND tax.... Try to print out the excedrin coupons, there are two seperate ones and you can print two each, so that's almost $8 that you wouldn't have to come oop for.

What deals are you thinking of doing?

I used the Schick BOGO coupon as well as a $4 off Schick Quattro coupon to get 2 3packs of Quattro for $4

Will probably head back tomorrow for the Pringles deal. If I get a $10/$20 cosmetics coupon (here's hoping!) I will try and do the cover girl deal with my coupons.

I am a little bummed that I couldn't do the colgate deal this week (no coupon) and I won't be able to do it next week either as I will be out of the country! And I have the darn coupon too! Blah!
