All information is compiled from various sources - other forums, friends, family, personal experience, and the actual ads themselves. My location is in central MA as well as others are country wide, so keep this in mind when reading posts and be sure to confirm your local ad as well before actual shopping. Happy ECB'ing!

Lonely me posting here, but I found a great deal!

The Energizer charger and 2 re-chargeable batteries are on sale for $8.99 (regular $24.99! - but sale priced or mis-priced at $9.99 without card). The 4 pack AA and AAA Energizer rechargeable batteries are on sale for $8.99 each (regular $11.29). There is a $2 peelie on the 4-pack batteries, good when you buy the batteries and the charger.

$10 ECB when you buy $20.

I bought 2 chargers with 2 free batteries each, 2 4-packs of AA and 1 4-pack of AAA and got $20 back in ECBs (and used 3 $2 coupons and 2 $4/20 - did 2 separate transactions and added a $2.49 clearance item that I went there to buy).

I did not see this in the ad, but there was a sign up by the batteries and the sign was for this week only. $30.95 with $20 back in ECBs. This is a steal for rechargeables and I have 2 great gifts that anyone can use.

Now, the regular Energizer deal that is in the ad says limit of 1, I was able to do 2 on this and I don't know if it's a secret sale or if it allowed 2 or if I was able to do 2 because it was done the same day - I've sometimes gotten 2 ECB limit of 1 deals when I've purchased on the same day. After getting $20 in ECBs on this, my receipt says offer limit reached, but it said $26.97 after the first transaction (bought 1 charger and 2 packs), so I had $6.97 towards my next $20.

On another note.. I was denied a $5 Tylenol coupon again because even though the coupon says Tylenol, Motrin, etc., CVS's registers only know it as Tylenol codes (was buying Children's Motrin). Didn't want to argue, but then after being frustrated at that, I forgot to give the clerk my $3.50 Dove Vitalizer stupid coupon too. Was mad at myself the whole way home - these people are sick of me as it is so wasn't going back in for that.

Anyone know yet if the Hershey Kiss ECB includes the Candy Cane ones? I really want to try those and haven't seen them anywhere except CVS, but I'm not paying the regular price for them! Plus I have some $1/2 coupons that would make them .50 per bag, which I can handle. :)

Got my own question answered already....someone on HCW said that they purchased the specialty kisses (candy cane and hot cocoa, I think was the other) and got the ECB. Woohoo!

If you love them and have more coupons, go to Walgreen's too because they're on sale this week and there's a coupon in the Nov. EasySaver.

Closest Walgreen's for me is about an hour away. :(
But thanks for the heads up!

I am toooooo confused. Sounds like a good deal. Did you do 2 deals with the rechargeable batteries? Sorry to be so slow but my brain cannot grasp it.:confused3

My dh thinks i'm nuts with all my FreeVS'ing.....

He likes that i spend very little though... (Maybe $10 a week to get tons of stuff)

I love the glade candle deal this week. (B1G1 coupons on-line at glade .com and a $3 coupon from last weeks paper can be all combined at once if the cashier rings the $3 one first)

I didn't think i'd have $ for xmas presents this year but with all my deals i should be able to come up with nice gift baskets.

(got in on the EOB deals a couple weeks back and have 3 of those travels bags already)

I am restraining myself from buying any more toothpaste though. (Psst i think there's another advanced aquafresh deal coming as i got a CRT yesterday and theres a coupon in one the inserts either this week or last) I do plan on unloading some items to the cold weather shelter this week though.

My mom's department at work is putting together a gift basket for an auction to raise money for charity. She asked me if I had any basket ideas. Of course I said I thought they should do a toothpaste basket. :rotfl2: Maybe the 12 days of toothpaste?? :santa: But she didn't go for that. :confused3 They want to do some kind of wine/romance basket. :rolleyes1

Only a non-CVSer would prefer a wine/romance basket to a toothpaste basket!! :rotfl:

So I'd be saying that wine stains your teeth and you can't be romantic without fresh breath!

I wish I could trade you some WGs for some CVSs!

No kidding! I have 15+ CVSs within a 30 minute radius of my house. That far expands if I include near work. And 8 or 9 of those are within a few miles of my house!!!!

It's so funny that I came on here specifically to announce my ideas for a toothpaste basket and here you guys are talking about it.

Anyhow, I'm on a tight budget and I have 3+ drawers of CVS overstock so here are my christmas ideas:

Sweet "tooth" Basket: Only half the guilt!
I plan to fill a basket (actually a box covered in wrapping paper) with lots of sweets/candies and some of my famous home made goodies and right in the middle I'm going to put a bottle of mouthwash framed out by two tubes of TP and two tooth brushes. I thought about printing out a little book with tooth related comics from off the internet (there is a really funny one ..farside I think...that says the tooth fairy and her ugly step sister, the sweet tooth fairy).

College student/bachelor survival kit:
I plan two fill a three drawered/wheeled tote to the brim with basic neccessities that college students/men tend to forget or can't afford. (both my brother and brother-in-law qualify for this one)

Product themed baskets:
I have alot of dove, olay, garnier, and biore products. A really good one I want to do is a garnier basket with garnier shampoo, a pot of conditioning mask, face scrub, and creme cleanser. I'm going to see if walmart has a lime green poof spounge to throw in. This can also be done with other brands.

Oprah's favorite things knock-off:
You can do a "spoil-me" type basket but instead fill it with all your favorite products. So yes, sometimes we buy certain items from CVS JUST b/c they are free but occasionally we get a choice in items that qualify. We inevitably buy the products we love most...like olay ribbons, garnier towelettes, j&j intense hand creme...ect, ect. You could put togther a basket and name it after yourself: [your name here]'s Favorite Things!

I also plan to get some pretty little wired baskets and put together about 10 baskets with the burt's bees I picked up on clearance earlier this year.

Another easy idea would be to cover a box with white paper, color a red cross on the front and fill it with tylenol, ib profrin, maloxx, gas x, bandaids, midol, beano, ect and may be a giant chocolate bar for pure silliness and hang a "first aid" tag on it. Great gift for the family hypochondriac...well assuming they won't go so far to OD on the stuff.

Fantastic ideas! The sweet tooth is perfect! I've got a ton of chocolate and putting toothpaste in with it for a gift is cute and funny.
