I have a question about how ECB (extra care bucks) are generated at CVS. Today I was purchasing items for the Proctor and Gamble special - spend $30 on P&G items and receive $10 ECB. I had $34 worth of P&G stuff before coupons. After coupons, my total came to $27. The machine did not spool out my $10 ECB. I asked the cashier and she stated that was because I only spend $27. I told her no, I spend $34 before coupons and it should generated an ECB. She was she sure the machine was correct. She was not exactly the most helpful person on the block and said if the machine did not spool out a coupon then that must be the reason. So I am being "docked" for using coupons??? That does not make sense. They get the coupon amount back from the company (P&G in this case)... I ended up returning my items and getting my coupons back. Has anyone come across this issue? Has CVS changed their policy on coupons and ECB? This has not happened to me in the past. Weird...
Thanks for your help!!
