Cvs 8/15-8/21 weekly deals

I went into a store yesterday and the manager must have just put out a table of 90% off clearance stuff. I got 4 robes for $1.49 each. They were a sort of waffle-weave material (not fleece and not velour). There were also pedicure kits (nice, big ones - maybe 11x17 box) for $1.49. I also got the 3 pack of wife-beater type shirts in colors. One pack was sort of a mix of pink colors. The other pack was a mix of blue colors. They were .99 each pack. Lastly there were velour shower wrap things with attached washcloth pouff thing. These are kind of like towel that you wrap around yourself after the shower but it has a velcro and I think it has shoulder straps. Those were .99.

The cashier saw me scanning the prices of the items and she asked me how much they were ringing up for. When I said .99, she ran from around the counter right to the table and scooped up the other shower wrap things. I already had the 2 I wanted. When I came to the counter with the robes, she asked how much those were. When I said $1.49, she asked where I found the others (only one had been on the front clearance table). I said in the back corner ofthe store on an end-cap. She bolted from the counter and ran to the back of the store!

The manager there said they were going to have a lot of clearance stuff in the next few days.

I have not found good clearance items like that in well over a year...i will check my store later.

I think the coupon will beep "already used

Do you think that's what happens when people use the ones listed on the heart cvs site? I used one months ago, and it beeped, and so I haven't used one since. Thankfully, I usually get an emailed coupon every other week or so, and just use those.

This morning at my store, they had a big sign that said "Right Guard Deoderant BOGOF deal limit ONE PER HOUSEHOLD". I only had one BOGOF coupon, so no problem for me. But I wonder what prompted that sign?? They didn't have anything posted about the SOBE deal, which I imagine was more popular since people could get more coupons.

Went today & used the 4/20 I got eamiled to me to do the blink deal, Kelloggs, & BOGO deodorant. At the end of my receipt was a 5/15 good for the next 3 days only!! Cool!!! Trying to come up with a deal for it! Also sent DH for 12 more Sobe's. He still doesn't get how we get it for free. He thinks the cashiers are giving him the evil eyes...they must be jealous!!

Do you think CVS will give me the Blink coupon value after the fact? I bought the paper along with the rest of my CVS haul today, and then saw the coupon tonight.

I did Sobe, Blink, Kellogg's, newspaper and Crest deals.

When I was in Walgreens yesterday I saw that some of their Blink boxes had $4.00 Off peelie coupons on them. Got one and used it at CVS, so it was a moneymaker for me!

did not get to cvs till last night..no newspaper left...they did not have the Crest toothpaste! walked out w/nothing - will try another store today - i did see the robes - they were just hanging i scanned them and they rang up 2.49.

Did really well yesterday w/ the BOGO sobe, got 6 on each card, the the purex sheets for 99cents--LOVE the $3.00 coupon the paper yesterday! New Razors (again!) floss--the coups form the Aug P&G work fine so that was free too!

Going back today for more sobe so I will check for the robes. Thanks for the tip!

I am pretty new to CVSing. I hope I did ok. Here's what I bought today.
2 Right Guards, ended up being free (used buy one get one free coupon)
Dawn dish soap 72 cents (used 25 cent coupon)
Dial bar soap 1.64 (used 35 cent coupon)
Tide 64 oz liquid soap 9.96 (used 1.00 coupon), plus I got $2 ecb
I had the kids with me, so I ended up buying them candy bars.
With my ecb's from last week, my total came out to $13.81. I think I am most excited about my 2 Right Guards being free! And before she rang up my coupons, the total was just over $28.

You did great! I have learned to not bring my husband with me to CVS or to stop in when he is with me because he is always wanting to add junk to the cart - candy, hooks, etc. So I know what you mean with the kids wanting candy!

There is a coupon for $1/2 Nabisco cookies in the SS flyer that came out within the last two weeks (not sure which one as I was on vaca and am catching up on my mail today) so that would make them 50c/box.

And...in my sneaky but I'm going to try it coupon pile...

There are coupons for $2 off 3 and $4 off 6 swedish fish/Sour patch. They're for the larger size but I'm going to see if it will work on the smaller size that are sale B2G1 which would make them MM.

It's a quarterly thing. It takes about 8 weeks to come in the mail but there are always some great P&G coupons in there. I got a $2 coupon for Cascade one time.

Hi flaky! Bumping back to page 1.

Did my CVS run earlier this week. Was able to get deodorants, 1 subject notebooks, Blink and Sobe for free.

My kids don't go back to school until Sept 7th!!!

No big vacations for us this year .
On the bright side, we've done some fun day trips. We've been to Niagara Falls a few times (we live about 15 minutes away). We're going to Toronto this weekend to see the Harry Potter exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre.
