Cvs 8/15-8/21 weekly deals

Not happy with today's run so I'm going back tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good run in.

The cashier - I affectionately call her the coupon nazi - put my B1G1 Oral B coupon thru for $1 because I only paid $1.50 for the second toothbrush and she wouldn't take the second $1/1 coupon Since the toothbrushes ended up costing me $3.50 instead of $.50 I'm thinking I might actually return them.

And... This one takes the cake....

She would only take one of the sobe coupons. I told if that was the case then I was only taking 2 of the SOBE - I had 12 so she had to void 10 of them out and put them back.

I was able to get the last box of Blink - it was actually pretty funny it was all the way in the back on the top shelf and being short I couldn't reach it. At first I though I might have to walk out of the store without it, but I put the canes that were on display right next to the eye care to good use.

Do you think CVS will give me the Blink coupon value after the fact? I bought the paper along with the rest of my CVS haul today, and then saw the coupon tonight.

They did take the coupon and gave me $1 back. Then I bought more Sobes and 3 candy bars (with coupon) for my dh who was with me. $1.28 for that run.

Today I went to CVS again and got something like 30 more Sobes. It's beginning to be a bit ridiculous in the Sobe section of the pantry area.

Went back tonight.

Again with the only one SOBE coupon. According to the cashier the manager is limiting the q to one per customer because of fraud Not a happy camper on that front. Oldest DS was with me and had a fit when I wanted to put the extras back so I just did the sale price on 10 of them.

On the good news front...

The $2/3 swedish fish q worked so a 20c MM.

The $1/1 large size pretzel M&M q works on the small size that's on sale this week B2G1. I was able to combine it with the 50c/2 pretzel M&M CRT that printed today and get three packs for 60c.

I was sorting thru my coupons today and came across a q for $1 off any 1 Degree deodorant. There was no size mentioned on the q. I was able to use it on the trial/travel size that were $1 - no beeps. I have another for $1.25/1 that also doesn't have a size listed so I'm going to see if I can turn it into a MM.

The Nivea Mens BW is on sale for $3.99. I had an expired $4/1 Nivea BW coupon left - it went thru for me tonight with no beeps. So more free BW.

It's per visit. and the limit is Six free so 12 SOBEs in all at one time.

In my favorite store the favorite cashier is no longer there and they also have a new manager. This new manager has a tendency to come stand by the register when I am checking out. Go figure. Yesterday I had a 5/25, my before tax was 24.97. I had to buy a candy bar to get over the $25 mark. Coupon beeped but manager finally put it through. I had a $3 off the Tylenol Precise from the scanner. Before cashier scanned it she said, "Did we buy this" holding up the coupon. After taking it out of the bag to show her I said, "I bought it".

Guess this is not my favorite store any more but it is where we get all of you meds.

Oh man. Even when I don't intend to coupon, I get drawn in...

I had $3 ECB expiring today. I headed to CVS to use them on Calmoseptine (my butt cream of choice for DS, and CVS special orders the tubs for me!) and a $5/$15 printed on my receipt.

So I grabbed 12 SoBe (luckily I had my coupons with me!) and looked around for something else. A mountain of paper towels caught my eye and then I saw the sign.... 90% clearance!

They had 6 CVS brand 12-packs of Paper Towels marked down to $1.29.

So I bought all 6, the 12 SoBe and paid $3.48.

I am set on paper towels for quite awhile...

I went to CVS yesterday and found Ultrabright toothpaste (hubby's favorite) on clearance for .37! But they wouldn't let me use my BOGO on the deodorant or Sobe! She didn't even try it, just gave it back to me and said it was already BOGO! I told her to take it off. They only had 3 sobe left anyway. I will try my regular store today, hopefully it will work!

A few weeks ago the same thing happend to me. But I said..check with the office because I KNOW you can take a BOGO coupon with a BOGO item. She wasnt happy but she did it. I have to just laugh now when the cashiers wont even say..."Have a nice day" or "Thanks" they just hand me my recpt can help the next person So, then I say "You have a great day too"

I went to a different CVS today (realized I had $10 more ECB expiring this weekend. ) and they had the same type of setup by the door as the one last night, except the spot was empty. I figure they had the paper towels on clearance too and someone wiped them out.

My dad stopped by today to get some. He took 3 of the packages and gave me a $5 as he chuckled. So I made money!

Same as above. Call corporate!! iheartcvs has the bogo coupon policy from CVS on her site. If you call corporate while still at the store some of them will ask to speak to the employee that refused your coupon and they will be immediately told the policy and to except the coupons

One of my less friendly managers said its up to the individual store to accept them or not. ??

Maybe I'll print the policy and carry it with me!

It is Sat and our deals for next week will be turned on now. However you can still do this weeks sale. I am confused and am trying to figure out a few things.
1) There is a Bounty for 6.99 this week. If I buy it now will it count for the
P&G deal Spend 25 get 10 ECB?
2) If I buy the PROGLIDE razor for this week can I get another one for next weeks deal also..ex.-get 2 in one trans action?

Whew -- just made it for a very late in the week run tonight. I was sick all week with bronchitis and didn't make it out at all. I went through some coupons last night and found 4 of the Right Guard BOGOs so I had to get out today and use those up! I ended up with 8 free Right Guards, could only get 2 free Sobes (the last two), I bought two of the Glide flosses (free with ECB and $1 coupons), Blink Tears $1.50 MM with coupon, and 6 free J&J first aid kids using the $3/3 coupons. I also ended up buying the bonus size of Excedrin Migraine. It was 9.99 with $3 ECB, but then I also had a $2/10 CRT for pain relievers and a $1.50 Excedrin coupon so $3.50 for 130 Excedrin. And then as if there was a heavenly light shining down upon me, I found Delsym cough medicine on 75% off clearance for $2.75, LOL! I've been guzzling the stuff this week.

Overall, definitely a productive trip! Now to rest up for tomorrow.
