Cutting in line..

I didn't read this entire thread. We have had people meet up with their parties, like a parent and child. I have had pushy people that do try to get around you at corners in the line. I always block their way. I would not hesitate to say something to someone that would try to cut in line. It bugs me very much when people can't wait patiently like the rest of people in line. The last time we where at buss light year, there was a 30 minute ride. This family tried to get through the fast pass line and was arguing with the CM that they gave their fast passes to the CM at the entrance. She wasn't buying any of it and force the family to the back of the line. The guy was getting really mad at her and instead of going back down the FP lane, decided to go back down the regular line. So all these people had to move out of the way for this annoying family as they pushed their way back through the line.

Line passers. That's a variant of cutting that doesn't often get discussed. While I hate those sneaks that try to pass you in the corners, I have often been tempted to pass those people who refuse to move with the line.

True. I understand a quick snapshot of c3po, but don't spend 5 minute arranging your family for the perfect shot and expect me to wait happily.

If the line is moving quickly you need to move quickly with it.

I agree with you! When a line is moving, move. Many people do not agree with this. They think that a line is a line and if they want to take pics everyone should hold up the line for them.

That is part of the reason I hate interactive queues!

If you stop moving in the queue, don't expect others to stop for you. If I want to take a photo, I either snap it fast or I let others around me.

Same goes for the "please fill all available space". If you don't fill the space, you can bet I will strategically position myself in the holding room to ensure a quick exit back into the queue.

I can't tell you how many spots I've jumped at TOT or RNR because people don't listen to the simple CM directions :rotfl2:

I don't understand the logic of the interactive queues when disney works so hard at keeping the lines flowing.

hubby can't see at all in the dark and we have a hard time with the cattle pens. he gets tons of bumps and bruises, even with me leading him and moving slowly, and saying "left, right soft left, uturn to the right, etc.

we will all get to the back of the line (where it stops moving) and have to wait anyway. but people get impatient and want to push us along if we aren't moving fast enough for them (no, we aren't stopping). we let the really impatient ones go ahead, and lo and behold, when we are all stopped there they are ahead of us, there we are, we are all stopped, but they are now ahead of us. no biggie, but still rude. (and it is obvious he has low vision, they hear me directing him.)

the interactive queues ar edifferent.. th ekids are supposed to "go play" at winnie the pooh, and then catch up when the parents get to the "draw a picture on the germ infested :rotfl:honey "windows".

at HM, the line splits, those who want to "play" adn anyone can pass anyone there while people are playing, and those who don't want to play stay in the line to the right.

I will, however, wait for people to take a pictrue of M.r potato head. heck, I'll even take a picture of them in front of him.

I don't mind a lag if the line is barely moving. It doesn't matter much. But if the line is moving along and someone wants to take a picture, I go around.

I assume the people who are holding everyone up are doing so thoughtlessly and would want everyone to keep going if they realized what they'd done.

I would never pass someone who was slower than me, or struggling with mobility, on a queue. I see that ALL the time and I find it awfully rude and inconsiderate. My point is, if the line is moving keep up with the line. If you choose to stop to take a picture on a moving line, you should realize the line will keep moving behind you. :goodvibes

My mom doesn't see well in the dark either. We use the iPhone torch in nemo and it helped. I just pointed it straight down so it wouldn't bother people around us.

Now see if we all could just pee on the floor...there would be no reason to leave the line in the first place;):rotfl2:

We'll technincally that would be considered a code 2319 (contamination) which would cause these guys to rappel from the ceiling and shave you! :)

p.s. It finally time for hockey:yay: Lets Go Blackhawks!! :hyper: :cheer2:

thanks for the advice!!:goodvibes we don't have an Iphone, but even if we use a flashlight, etc. then when we get into the dark ride, his eyes haven't been able to adjust and he won't see a thing on the actual ride. we just take it slow and hope people will be patient..

even though the line may be cliipping along at this oint, eventually we all get to where the line is stopped anyway:confused3

(I'm not even going to get into the whole GAC, alternated entrance discusiion, that's for another thread!;))

So basically what I have learned from this thread is we need to pee on and spank all line cutters..sounds like a plan that might work! :lmao:
