Cutting Back 1 Day - What happens to FP?

I made FP reservations for 6 days, but now I'm thinking we will really only do 5 park days (we are doing both water parks).
My total package is not paid off yet (almost will be by next week) so I wanted to change my tickets from 6 day tickets to 5 day tickets to save $50. My question is how will this affect my FP selections? I don't want it to mess up any days except the one we are taking off, which is in the middle of the week.

Before you downgrade your ticket, go into your FPs and Cancel all your FPs for the "middle day." Then, you won't lose any of your must have FPs.
