Customized Park maps came yesterday

And they are beautiful!!! I can tell you these will not be coming to the parks with us but are great for planning because they picture of the park is so large!! I didn't measure them but the overall size is over 12x24. You can customize them, save them to print yourself or they will print and mail them for free. I know this is probably not news for the veterans but as a first timer, I was so excited by this They do take about 4 weeks to come, I ordered mine on 3/7 and they just came yesterday. But like I said, you can also save them as pdf's and print them yourself.

Yes, we just got ours last week and they are cool. Old timey like a treasure map. We have an Indiana Jones style shoulder haversack and we are keeping our adventure stuff in it, binoculars, small camera, little FP+ scribbling notebook and these maps.

I plan to order these maps, my question is when I did the trial run for making them, they left no space for personalization. I was hoping to put my daughters name on it. Any suggestions?

This is one thing technology has ruined for me over the years. I don't use printed maps anymore. I just use the internet maps while I am in the parks (or MDE now). I guess I should still order them, like as a keepsake, but it isn't like it used to be, actually needing the printed ones.

For those in Canada, maybe if you saved them and had them printed at a UPS store or office supply store that does larger printing? Don't know if they scale or if the pdf will save in the larger format? I have not idea if this is possible but just a thought??

As for personalization, I didn't look into this but maybe you can get letters from a craft store and do your own personalization? Or find someone with really nice handwriting

they are large and they are beautiful, but I am disappointed because they still listed/labeled every single attraction in the park. I thought we would be getting a "simplified" map that only labeled the attractions I chose on the website (I only chose the attractions my family was particularly interested in). Instead it lists all the attractions, and the ones I specified as my choices are just a different color label than the others.

Not a huge deal, but its not that simplified of a map. I just wanted to let people who have never ordered one know what it really looks like.
