I'm looking for jeans, but I'm having a hard time finding any I like.

If you're a curvy girl, where do you buy your jeans? :)

I buy jeans at old navy and if I have $$ to splurge I buy the plus size bootcut calvin kleins at macy's. Sometimes the CK's are BOGO 50% off, which is a deal since they are $50-70 each.

At Old navy I buy the Dreamer womens jeans. They are cut to slim your tummy and lift your butt. I find that they stretch a lot after one wear so I try to buy them on the tight side so when they stretch they don't look horribly loose.

How curvy are we talking about? :)
I am pear shaped and HATE shopping for jeans or just pants in general.
Especially after having DD, none of my old pants fit...

Anyways, I got lucky with some merona jeans from Target. Relaxed fit I think it's called. I got it on sale for $15, fits like a dream.
It's not the low rise jeans (can't wear those anymore, mommy pouch... ) so it sucks in the tummy pretty well.

Good luck!

I can't wear low rise jeans, either. They are very uncomfortable and I don't need my crack hanging out every time I sit down. :headache::laughing:

Hmmm, I never thought to look at Macy's. Our Old Navy doesn't carry plus sizes in store. :(

Kohls had some great ones on sale for like $20 this week! Kohls and pennys have cute curvey stuff!!!

What size do you wear? If you're 14 or higher, Lane Bryant has a good selection.

I order from Old Navy. If I have a good coupon (or a gift cert from family) I will get Lane Bryant jeans, but I just can't afford $50 jeans anymore. Old Navy's are $20 if you catch a sale.

It involves having to return some that don't fit just right, but it's still cheaper than paying $50 for a pair of jeans. And I've tried on dozens of the Lane Bryant Right Fit jeans and none of them fit me right anyway. (I was so hoping!)

I have found that Lee jeans fit me well. I usually get them at Kohls.

Walmart has lee jeans that I like (with the tummy panel!) and my FAVORITE jeans are at Avenue!!!!! I'm plus sized AND very tall. Lane no longer fit me since their sizing changes:(

Avenue jeans do stretch out though so be sure you don't get too big of a size

I love Old Navy "The Dreamer" jeans. I wore a pair a few weeks ago that I got on clearance for $5, I had 3 people in my family tell me the cut was very slimming! I also like that they are contoured at the waist and don't stretch out in the back above the bum! I think they go up to a size 20.

i also love the old navy "dreamer" style jeans. i have a light denim pair that stretch (they're very soft!), and 2 dark denim pair that have pretty much no stretch at all; needless to say, the stretch pair is my favorite. i don't wear the dark denim ones much, as they're very tight on my legs (this isn't the fault of the jeans-i had gastric bypass surgery 6 years ago and have a good bit of loose skin on my legs).

I am thrilled to announce I am no longer playing underwear peek-a-boo!
I second Merona jeans! I LOVE them! Made my SIL try mine on at Christmas because they are so awesome. The ones I bought have an elastic band inside the waist that reads "no gap stretch" but they do not look like elastic waisted mom jeans, they look like Lucky brand jeans.

I'll look these up today online. Thanks. :)

I've had a hard time finding jeans too- the new sizing at LB and Fashion bug is so screwy to me and i've yet to find a pair that fits well. I used to love when ON had plus size in stores, but since they switched to online only, I was skeptical about ordering. I finally broke down and bought a great pair of ON jeans; they had free shipping, and free shipping on returns (which I needed since I decided a size smaller would be better) so that was a perk!

I've also had luck with Lee's that I found at Wal-mart...they're not the most....stylish? though...:rotfl:

Depending on your size, my favorites are the stores with a Curvy cut -

so I love my new Ann Taylor curvy jeans - good stretchy material so I don't have the waistband gap issue, and fits my hips well.

Also, I have a pair of GAP curvy jeans that fits very well too.

I normally look for sales and use coupons - I got my GAP jeans when they were have a $19.99 jean sale, and with Ann Taylor I had a 40% off coupon.

Don't know what size you are, but I'm a curvy size 10 - my waist is smaller than my hips. I have the best luck with LLBean jeans. They have different fits that fall in different places on your hip. I don't think they're unreasonable at $29.95.

Have always had a difficult time finding jeans/pants that fit. The only jeans I've worn for years now are Gloria Vanderbilt, from Kohl's. But I think JCPenney may carry that brand also.

BTW, in addition to different colors of jeans (stonewash, regular, dark, etc) they are also available in colors - green, tan, black, etc.

I'm a size 18, and since I found "Bandolino Blu" brand at Belk, that's the only kind of jeans/capris I buy now. I love them, and the fit is perfect for me.

*sigh*

Alright, I may as well come out and share with thousands of my friends what size I am. :rolleyes1

I wear a size 18 and I'm right on the edge between misses and plus. Some pants I can wear a regular 18, others I have to go into plus sizes.

My problem is gaping in the back. My waist is smaller than my hips, so I don't want a jean that gaps in the back.

And even though I am a mom, I refuse to buy Lee jeans. ;)

Hmmm, I've never heard of Belk.
