Curry?, Never AGAIN!!

Hope she is felling better sending her a big hug  , I know what it feels like I am allergic to nuts also and they make my very sick like you daughter , my DH get very worried when he see's me have a reaction so it must be horrid to see your child in that postion

Thanks for your reply, it's nice (if you know what I mean?) to hear from someone who knows what it's like. She was a poorly little girl last night & I feel we need to sit and talk to someone about it.

Ouch............bad experience. I am glad that all now is well

When I make curry I never add nuts, apart from Rogan Josh where the recipe includes nuts.

My advice for all severe allergy sufferers is to only eat food made up from raw ingredients.........you have no idea what sort of crap the food manufacturers put in sauces and things;)

Your poor DD what a shock for you all.

DD has a peanut allergy and although she's only had one mild reaction we now carry an aldrenaline epipen for her and she has one at school etc.

Strangly enough she had banana for the first time in years the other day at school and she came up in a reaction to that.

Good luck with the hospital - I think it took us 18 months between A&E visit and her being diagnosed and prescribed the epipen.

I'm no expert but if you feel I might be of any help please feel free to PM me!

Hugs for you all

Well after visiting the GP today, they are going to do an urgent referral back to the Immunology clinic in Manchester!, GP thinks she need's an Epipen, but we'll see what happens?.

Keep us updated ! i think an Epipen would be wise ;)

Well on Tuesday I had a phonecall at work from the GP who saw my DD the previous week, she wanted to prescribe my DD an Epipen. So the next day I spoke to her Paediatrician (I work in the same department) and she agreed, so on Wednesday DH & I are off for our training.
