Realize that no one is Nostradamus here, but I get the view that currently, the Resorts are low in occupancy. Have booked for late March in each of AKL Kidani, Poly and Yacht Club and trying to ascertain what to expect at resort pools. Hoping they’re relatively sparsely populated.
Also, if anyone knows, is luggage transfer between resorts (I.e. for split stays) still on offer? Many thanks,

Haven’t been myself during this time but headed to beach club and poly in April so following along also! I have seen people saying the poly pool has been pretty empty compared to what it’s normally like but again not my personal experience. My understanding is luggage transfer is still available from resort to resort but isn’t offered from magical express to your first resort.

We stayed at CBR in October and it was moderately busy. I would not call it packed by any means, but it certainly was not a ghost town. We visited the pool several times mid-late afternoon and always managed to find two chairs together, but the options were limited. In "normal" times, I'd suspect that chairs would not be found at that time, so probably slightly better in terms of crowds. March is spring break time and with numbers (hopefully) going down by then as the vaccine ramps up, I would not be surprised if its busier then than it was when we traveled in October.

They still do transfer luggage between resorts. Keep in mind that it can take a while - some have reported 12+ hours, and you wouldn't be able to access your bag during that time. I would suggest making sure anything you'd need during the day is not in your luggage, or take an Uber to your new resort with your luggage so you can store it yourself with bell services. You at least know where it is and have access to it when you want it.

Occupancy at Kidani is relatively high compared to other hotels and the pool is small given the number of rooms. However, you can use the pool at Jambo as well.

BC is still closed, so SAB is not as packed as it would normally be.

Only the DVC villas are open at Poly. So even though they are at a pretty high rate of occupancy, the resort itself is not crowded at all.

Pools are tending to get more crowded in the evenings than they usually get due to early park closures and nothing else to do.
