I got both at Disneyland last month. The beach towel is a one piece thing where the towel folds up into the attached string backpack. the string straps look pretty sturdy, but we haven't used it yet. The regular backpack is pretty large and has padded straps. It has three zipper pockets on the outside. The middle outside pocket has the small pouches for pens and maybe an iPod or phone, and it has two mesh pockets for water bottles. It is very similar to Jansport backpacks that my kids have used for school, but they are not getting this one.

I miss the days when it was a watch, I always got one, hopefully it will be something different in Sept. I already have a backpack.

I miss the watches, too. I do like backpacks, even if I already have one or two. Maybe even three.

I got the backpack in June, it's really nice, and pretty big! I have used it several times, love it!

Thanks for the photos and updates! I wish there was a new watch, too. I have a collection of them from each trip and would love to get a new one in August! Otherwise I'll be coming home with a backpack that I definitely don't need

Wouldn't lose hope on the watch. These were just the pics sent to me. On our last trip I did see the watch but it wasn't shown or perhaps available at every store we went to. Not sure why but the lower end items were displayed everywhere but the watch waste scarce. Perhaps that's the case now as well?
