We're driving down to WDW in Oct from IN and we normally take I-65 & I-75 but I've been reading there are some construction projects going on but I haven't had any success with googling what is closed/restricted.

Does anyone know where these projects are and how they might impact our trip?

TIA!

One suggestion is to go to each state's dept. of transportation website.

In Tenn., they had a mudslide wash out 75 southbound. It is down to one lane. Since that was near our destination, we got off 75 in Corbin, KY and did a side trip/detour. On the way home, we came north that way. The one lane is really brief (a few miles) and there was no traffic (on a Friday morning) going into the construction either. That is supposed to be done in Sept. (happened in March), but we got the details from their DOT site.

If you go either through Louisville or Cincy, we did not have any real construction. Sorry, between Indy and Louisville there was some, but nothing that slowed us down on a Saturday morning. Personally, I'd go through Cincy if that works for you.

We only went as far south as Knoxville.

I-75 in south Georgia still has some construction zones but it has been getting better each year compared to the previous ones. The impact is minimal unless you are traveling on peak days (like Thanksgiving timeframe).

Sorry......can't comment on areas north of Atlanta.

Here is an article about the Tennessee construction.

Looks like it will be finished soon.
