Current Blanket with Purchase

When we visited in the past, we always picked up the blanket that was available for about $20 with a purchase. We have the castle, Mickey and Alaskan (from our cruise) blankets. Does anyone know if they still offer this and, if so, what the current design is? We'll be there in a few weeks!

Yes, we were just there this week. The blanket comes in a sinch style back pack bag with Mickey on it, so we never saw what the design was, only what the pack looked like.

We always pick one two, but we passed last month. It now comes with a string backpack but they changed the blanket's material to a cheap fleece. The ones from our previous trips were in a furry kind of material, that stands really well to the washer and dryer. The new one, I think, will pill, in the dryer.

Aw, that is adorable! I'm getting quite a collection of bags and blankets! I kinda wish the blanket had that cute Mickey / Minnie Xmas design on it! Thanks for sharing that pic, also!

ugh i'm not a fan of the design though.
and if its not the furry fleece that makes me even less of a fan.
and i was looking forward to buying one in a few weeks.

i have the one from a couple years ago and i love it.
my sister has one as well.
and my other sister bought one for each of her two DD's but then her 7mo old DD at the time loved it so much that when it needed to be washed and dried she cried so they let her used the older DD's and then she ended up keeping both of them lol.
they have been "her blankies" for 2yrs now and they are just as nice as they were back then even going through routine washes.

Go figure - I like the cinch bag better than the blanket. Is the blanket really only in the plain fleece? I'm not a fan of that either.

We were there the other week and I asked the castmember if I could feel the blanket.

Honestly it felt terrible.I know none of my ds would want to use it. Although the picture is cute on it, the material was so rough and not soft at all. We ended up not getting it and just buying a regular throw instead.

As others have posted it felt cheap and would probably not hold up for alot of washing. I think it was $19.95 with the $40 purchase. If you felt the cinch sack alone that comes with it would be worth that price, I guess it would be ok. But I felt like it would be a waste for us.

They must have a bunch of those blanket/cinch bag sets. That's what they were offering in DLR as well (last week of October).

Now THAT is what they should have had at the Merry and Bright Dessert party as the give-away with the party. And then they could have maintained the nice, fuzzy blankets as the purchase with purchase. I guess we don't NEED new blankets this year!
