Curious...how many WA State DVC'ers?

We're in Washington! Our original plan when we bought DVC was to go once a year, but so far we've gone twice in each 12 month span (to make use of APs) and then taken two years off in between to save up points again. Since the flight's so long and not so cheap anymore, we like to go for longer trips - 10 days or more each time.

We are norh of Seattle. We bought in 2008, but last year went to California in summer then Florida at Christmas, we are going again in a couple of weeks.

Cool! We have gone 1-3 times a year to DL for the last four years...finally buying this past month. I wanted a travel trailer, DH wanted no part of it....DVC was the compromise. :goodvibes

not WA state but just north in BC... we used to own property in WA state -- does that count? ;)

2-3 times every other year to WDW and 3-4 times every other year to DLR...but that might change to every year when we move to AZ.

Spokane checking in, due to the cost of airfare and time to fly we usu. only get to go every other year, although we have been members since 94 we know someday we'll start going more often!

I am not from WA, but i'm inspired to post since we just got back from a 10 day trip to Washington that was glorious. 3 nights in seattle, 3 nights in olympic national park, and 3 nights in paradise inn at mount ranier. Simply a spectacular state!

So nice to hear someone appreciate our state!

We are in Kirkland and go at least once or twice a year.

We moved about a year ago to Austin. Originally from Beaverton, OR which is where we lived when we first bought into DVC in 2002. We still go about the same 2-3 times per year. We usually hit all the prime times because of school vacations Christmas, Spring Break and Summer. I think we are done with summer because it is too dang hot! Our favorite times to go are October, March and May and since DD is starting home school this year we might be able to partake in some value point seasons, yeah!

We head back to Portland/Vancouver for a couple weeks each summer. Gotta LOVE the Pacific NW!:hippie:

You just missed the heat! Rainier says hi. Or I think that's what it's doing, sitting there turning slightly pink as the sun continues to go down (it's like a painting in my window in my condo as I sit at the computer).

Tacoma here. Bought without having been to WDW! Going first time in December, quite sure we'll love it (otherwise we're in trouble, since I'm not the biggest fan of the Grand Californian!). It was after 2 solid years of DLR APs and going there multiple times, but not wanting to buy at the Grand, that we bought. :)

Live in Seattle:

Usually we go to Disneyland 1-2 times a year
2008 Disneyland 3 times
2009 we did the disney cruise twice including WDW, US, SW and Disneyland once
2010 not one single trip to Disney as I'm expecting and it's been rough to try and do any traveling. Would love to try and go around Halloween or Christmas! Maybe in 2011!!

We just became members. We live on the Eastside. Anyway, our plan is to go no more than once a year, though this year will be an exception (twice)!

Port Orchard here,

We try to visit a Disney Park every year. Our last visit was with our daughter and her husband last April, and are in the beginning stages of planning another trip next April. We were thinking of doing the Disney Dream cruise but our son and his wife, and future grandson (will be born next month) would like to visit WDW with us, so now it is a landlubber visit. Good news is our son is in the U.S. Coast Guard and the 5 day passes for military is only $99 this year ($125 for park hopper add-on).

Besides WDW we have used the DVC points for two honeymoons (daughter in Hawaii and son in Mexico), a couple of Disney cruises, and we just got back from San Francisco, CA where we stayed in the Fairmont Hotel and we paid a visit to the Disney Museum as well as the Silverado Winery owned by Ron and Diane Miller (Walt's daughter and son-in-law)in Napa, CA.

We live in Gig Harbor. We go to WDW and Disneyland once per year.
Might need to add another trip here soon if we want to see the sun this summer..
