We are staying at CSR and we have a 9:15 am ADR for Cape May Cafe, what would be the best way for us to get to Cape May Cafe. I thought of taking the bus to either Epcot or DS (they both open at 9 am that morning) and then either walking or boat to Cape May Cafe. Is there a better way of doing it? If we wanted to get a cab, would there be any at the hotel in the morning? Any suggestions appreciated. This is our first WDW trip and we are all very excited (especially me :Pinkbounc ). Thanks. :flower:

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

Taxi would be the fastest way to get there. There are usually a few taxis outside each resort, but you can always call the front desk and ask them to call one for you. It's a 10-15 minute taxi ride and it will cost you about $10-$12 plus tip.

Good luck!

Another Welcome!
I agree that a taxi would be the easiest and fastest way to get to the Beach Club. Your idea of taking a bus to Epcot would not work since the bus leaves you off at the main entrance and you need the International Gateway (other side of Epcot) to be able to walk to the Beach Club. Your other idea would work. You can take a bus to the Disney Studios and walk (20-25 minutes) or boat over to the Beach Club (same amount of time or longer).
A taxi would be much easier. After eating you can walk (5 minutes) to Epcot or walk or boat over to the Disney Studios. Please note that you can also get Disney buses to the MK, AK, DTD and water parks from the Beach Club or any of the Epcot area resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin). Just walk through any resort lobby and out the main entrance to find the bus stops (not the boardwalk side).

Enjoy your trip!

You do have a direct bus option as well. Because you would need to be there prior to the park opening time you can use the morning Breakfast transportation. You can take the MGM Studios bus and advise the driver that you have a reservation for breakfast at Cape May, they will stop there to drop you off.

Early morning character breakfast transportation for resort guests with a priority seating at a Walt Disney World theme park or resort location is available.

Guests need to be at the designated bus loading zone 45 minutes prior to seating time, and inform the driver they are going to a Character Breakfast.

Guests traveling to the Beach Club may proceed to the Disney-MGM Studios load zone and board the Disney-MGM Studios bus.

The bus will arrive at the load zone within 20 minutes, depending on route.

It is always advantageous for guests to tell the driver that they are going to a Character Breakfast.

If traveling from a resort to another resort for a character breakfast after park opening take the normal route using a theme park as a transfer hub, if appropriate

** If you do decide to take a cab you can get one very easily from CSR as it is a convention hotel they actually have a taxi staging area in the front parking lot.

Thank you for everyone's replies. I didn't realize that we had the option of early bus transportation for character breakfasts. I guess now that I know all my options we'll just do what seems to be the better option at the time. :flower:

Since the ADR is at 9:15, it might be too late to use the Breakfast busses. I believe they stop running the "Breakfast busses" 1 hour before park opening and start the regular bus routes. It couldn't hurt to ask if he could drop you off.

So I believe your best option is to take a taxi (about $7 and 10 minutes, depending on the traffic lights).

Your second best option is to take the MGM bus and walk to the BC. The first boat of the day will arrive at the MGM dock right before 9AM. By the time it gets back to the YC/BC dock it would be 9:15 or later.
