We are staying at CSR for the first time in Nov. It seems as though people either like Pepper market or hate it. Is it the food that you hate, the variety, the set up, or that you have to pay a 10% tip? We are on the dining plan so I have heard its a good value. I was just wondering if the food is gross.

My wife and I thought the food at the pepper market was great. A lot of options and we enjoyed everything we had.

A lot of people hate the tip aspect of the pepper market, we would just take our food to go and sit at the tables outside and avoided that completely. We actually ended up eating here more during our trip because we liked it so much.

We loved the CSR! Enjoy your trip, it's an excellent resort.

While I bristled a bit at the tipping aspect of Pepper Market, it was NICE to have your drinks brought to you and refilled.

I found all of the food tasty and very fresh. I liked that it was made to order.

Well it's good to know that they have good food! We like to eat in our room to save time so we will probably by pass the seating.

If you are staying at CS for any extended period of time, you'll try PM for at least one meal. Other wise your on-site food options are very slim AND PM food is much, much better than the very quick service counter across the hall.

We've eaten their several times and have been happy with the food and the service.

Pepper Market was easily one of the best meals we had last trip. No crowds, amazing fresh food, and great service. Can't really compare it to the typical food court and we tipped more than 10% because our hostess was so great.

Just to clear something up:) The 10% is a service charge added to your bill if eating there and it is NOT the tip. We like the food but do not like the service fee or the setup. The issue with the setup is that you place your order at one of their (I think they have 5 food stations), so if you have 4 people wanting something from 4 different areas I find myself spending most of the time checking the 4 areas to see if our food is ready. The servers do not bring your food they just refill your drinks, personally I do not think it's worth 10%. It would be so much better if the stations gave out a beeper to let you know your food is ready. We started getting our food to go and sitting in the area between Rixs cafe and the lounge.
