So, I have booked DH and myself for free dining staying at CSR. I am excited as I have tried for 3 years to get free dining at CSR and each time there has been no availability and we have stayed at POFQ.(once I went with my mom and once with my dad). Anyway, DH is not liking the idea of using buses for all our transportation... he would like to be at an Epcot/boardwalk resort or a monorail resort, but because we have 2 DD's in college that we have to pay for, those resorts are kind of out of our price range!! Plus, like I said, I have always wanted to try CSR, especially the pepper market. I am wondering how long the bus rides are to the parks, and where should I request to be in CSR to minimize bus riding time? We usually either drive down or rent a car, so we have not used the buses much. I am trying to make this a relaxed trip. DH is not a Disney fan like me, so I want to make sure he has a fun time too. And a lot of that depends on if it is a hassle to get to and from the parks. Thanks!!

So we always used bus stop 1, but as stated that one (el centro) is the last to be picked up for the parks, and the last one to be dropped off, but I dont think we hardly ever stood even in the AM, but again, perks for going in the off season. The DTD bus (IIRC) picks up first at #1 so on that one we had to ride all the way around. We also used cabs from there a few time with no problems at all.
