Does anyone know of a site to see which conventions are at WDW on which dates? My sister is planning on a spring trip and wants to stay at CSR but the last time they stayed there there was a rowdy group of conventioneers there. She wants to avoid conventions.

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a reliable source for all conventions at WDW. I use Google, actually. Most large conventions have some information about them on the Internet, and so entering "Disney World" AND ( "convention" OR "conference") and some dates tends to get me a good amount of information that I find helpful.

I'd like to say thanks for this info too. I am leaning toward CBR for our next trip and a few family members want to stay at CSR. Last time I stayed there I was actually knocked to the floor by a rowdy drunken man. I thought the resort was gorgeous and so authentic but that experience kind of soured it for me. This might prove helpful in making our final decision.

I would think they have conventions almost non stop they have such huge facilities.

I search Google by using Coronado Springs Convention or Coronado Springs Resort Convention.

The last time we stayed at CSR there was a Chrysler convention going on and to be honest other than seeing them in teh main building during their breaks you would have never known they were there.

Last time we were at CS during a tow truck convention. I'd never seen so many different tow trucks parked in one place at one time. It didn't effect the facilities, but they did take up lots of room in the parking lots at night.
I love CS. We are going back in 5 weeks.

There were a couple of conventions during our stay (10-4 thru 10-11) and other than seeing a few men & women in business attire & name badges you would never have known they were there.

Thanks, everyone. Buzz, adding the date to my google search made a big difference. My sister wanted to go either the week of 3/25, or the week of 4/20. One week has a Disaster Recovery group and the other is the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery! I don't think I'd want the aesthetic plastic surgeons checking me out at the pool! LOL!

We ate at Pepper Market in May and there was a convention of Military equipment suppliers. They had helicopters parked in the parking lot and lots of people in the fatigues not really a normal sight for WDW :)
